Am I the only European who has close to zero interest in traveling within Europe?
If you've been in Italy or France, you've basically seen all of Europe. Yet my friends only ever want to visit France, Spain or Germany.

I don't travel to ZOG colonies, the angloshere and western Europe are all the same, boring and sterile, full of zombies and cattle
Did I ask?
turbo copium
american here i get what ur saying but all those countries are very different. there's nothing wrong with saying you just wanna sit inside all day and watch anime but don't use false facts to justify your cope. On one hand europe does feel like disneyland with its castles and rural towns and villages that haven't caught up to the 21st century, but they all have unique cuisines, languages, architecture etc.
I think that's fundamentally a very American opinion
I've lived in a country with 500 year old architecture and castles, it's just everyday to me, but on the other hand, I would say going to NYC and Vegas is like visiting two different countries
Europeans don't actually like each other that much so they don't typically go to the other countries unless they have a good reason like its shit where they live or its cold where they live. Plus road trips are less of a thing. The French for example seem to seldom visit Switzerland or Italy but I've been to Arizona (neighboring state) several times this year and 12 states in total just this year.
all I ever wanted
I mean it is a bit boring compared to any other continent, but I still like traveling within Europe when I want to just relax and not worry about infrastructural issues.
I do roll my eyes at fellow Europeans who never venture more East than Berlin or Stockholm. Like stop sleeping on Eastern Europe, and stop sleeping on the countryside.
Also your friends might just be boring and you should try and make new travel friends. I'm European, too, and my problem is more like that my friends always go to places like South Sudan and Iraq and running marathons in North Korea and whatever. And I'm just like... I don't feel like giving up on my US visa waiver just for some road trip in Iraq.
Romanian here, ignore this not well-travelled mutt
I've been to the majority of east and west european cities (save latvia and lithuania). In my teens via train and later on thru flights. There's nothing to see in Europe except old ruins, soulless blocks and tourist traps, the food is bland and the culture is downright cringe
Going to middle east and southeast asia though, wowee, from their spiritual beliefs to wacky food (both tasty and inventive and also the right amount of Hispanices / combos), it was a complete culture shock and made it worth travelling. I'll be resuming my SEA tour this year (KL and Jakarta left so far). I 100% agree with you OP
I'm an american who lived in Germany for 2 years and I think this too, I don't even think of Europe as a vacation destination anymore
Go to madeira and azores, thank me later
Ah yes, the uncanny resemblance of Italy and Sweden.
