I have 2 weeks for my birthday:
>Romania
>Bulgaria
>Hungary
>Slovakia
>Czechia
>Croatia
>Serbia

This is where I can find cheap flights without need for the clot-shot. Any recommendations? I will be going solo. I love history, cheap food, cheap drink, cheap women and beautiful architecture. Which countries would you suggest?

Enjoy spending 2 weeks in a hotel though only to fly back as you'll be in quarantine without the shot.

you don't need to quarantine in any of these countries

you'll have to be more specific - they are all white Christian countries located in Central Europe, which means cuisine, women, prices, geography, etc will be similar to each other.

btw most of the world has no covid restrictions, including (in your region) Poland and more. Schengen means there are no covid restrictions when travelling by land, so while austria might check your passport on a bus from slovenia they won't ask for vax

Interesting, so I can't fly into Poland without vax/quaantine, but can travel there by land...that changes things

I meant austria still has some restrictions but you can enter by land, and you could probably do the same for any schengen country.
Poland is completely in the clear, you can fly in with no vax and no one even wears mask

    >God tier: Croatia and Romania
    >Good tier: Czechia, Hungary and Serbia
    >Shit tier: Bulgaria

Croatia and Romania offer varied options. You can chill in their nice beaches, hike in their national parks or visit their historical landmarks.
Czechia, Hungary and Serbia also have nice national parks and interesting historical landmarks so if you don't care for beaches, pick whichever you find the most interesting. Personally, I would pick Czechia since they have a more interesting history and produce some of the best beers in the world.
Bulgaria is just a corrupt shithole run by the Mafia and it doesn't have any significant attractions compared to the other countries.

I forgot Slovakia. I'd place it along with Czechia since they were the same country not long ago. If you visit Czechia then might as well visit Slovakia, they aren't particularly large countries so you could easily spend a different week in both.

Prague, Bratislav, and Budapest would be an easy journey

I was also thinking that Sofia to Istanbul and back would be interesting

Prague to Warsaw and back could be amazing too

I might have misread your post. I thought that you were flying to only one of these countries and spend the entire time in one of them.
In that case, your plan sounds good. I would probably start in Czechia and then, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria and Turkey just like you said. I don't recommend Poland at the moment with the war going on, it might be too chaotic but maybe ask some Pole on SighSee if it's fine to visit it

Fly to Bulgaria first. They are not Schengen and have no restrictions

From what I've read, neither does Czechia
      >Effective April 9, 2022, the Czech Republic has suspended all COVID-19 related entry restrictions for travelers. Travelers to the Czech Republic are no longer required to complete a Passenger Locator Form, provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or prior infection, etc.

They are however a part of the Schengen, so airlines might give you a hard time about flying there. Bulgaria is not subject to any Shengen restrictions, so it might be easier to get there

I see. Well what about this idea? Fly into Sofia. Greece and Turkey don't require vaccines

Option 2 is in pink/yellow, I am kind of liking that idea more, Athens is a shithole and then no more planes than needed.

I see. In that case, I would split my time between Greece and Turkey. They are both great countries as well, honestly more so than the first few countries in your first post except maybe Croatia and Czechia. I'm not familiar with Macedonia region in Greece but that's where Alexander the Great was born so it's a must-see for any history lover.

I recommend flying into Bulgaria, because it's a good way to bypass restrictions. You can fly in no problem and once you're in the EU, no one really checks anything.

    Thinking

Sofia, Arrive Friday at 5:40PM, leave Sunday 2h20m to Plovdiv or 10 hours to Istanbul
    >?? Plovdiv - Monday, leave Tuesday
Arrive Istanbul on Tuesday, stay for a week leave next Tuesday for Thessaloniki which takes 9h
    >Thessaloniki stay Tuesday and Wednesday, leave thursday to Sofia which takes 8h30m
    Sofia for Thursday through Sunday

Too much time in Sofia, I think you should just spend time there in the front end or the back end, not both. Plovdiv is cool and worth a day or two in my opinion.

Hungary (specifically Budapest) is a pretty popular travel destination. On a two week stay, you could start out in Budapest for a few days, rent a car and visit outside the capital (ex. Szeged and Pecs, or Debrecen with a stop in Eger or Miskolc on the way) for a few days, and then return to Budapest for a few days.

Serbia is cheaper than Hungary. I also like Serbian/Balkan cuisine more than Hungarian, but that's personal preference. I've heard people say that Belgrade has some of the best nightlife in Europe, if you're into that, but I find Belgrade to be a bit overwhelming. It's a big chaotic city. Novi Sad, on the other hand, is really charming and cool, and Subotica is like a small, mostly ignored gem.

I don't see Bosnia on your list, but I just spent an amazing week in Sarajevo. I don't know about cheap women, but it has really interesting history, incredibly good and cheap food and drink, and cool east meets west architecture and culture. It's a 6-7 hour drive from Budapest, and I imagine it's shorter travel from Belgrade or Zagreb. If you didn't mention Bosnia on your original list because you simply overlooked it, I can recommend you to take a look.
