Here's the situation, I'm stuck in rapid city and I need to get to Billings, Montana. Can't fly and don't have a car. I need a ride there. Any anons in the area going that way? Any idea on what I should do? I'm hesitant to try hitchhiking with all the homeless methheads around. Not sure if this is even the right board to ask, but I'm getting desperate at this point
Go Go Greyhound
You should try Greyhound like the Poster above said. If you too broke to afford a greyhound ticket try hitchhiking. try not to look too ratty and someone should pick you up
Tickets are too pricey. Any tips for hitchhiking? I'm professional or at least well kempt looking. I'm just worried I'm going to sit on the sun on a highway for the entire day and not get anywhere
>greyhound is too pricey
Bro just how bad of a fucking drug addict are you
you willing to dm me? i might be able to help
Perhaps, what did you have in mind?
Sucking my dick for 51℅ of the way there. I hope you look pretty in a dress and wig
I have a craiglist ad, would emailing me through that work?
Anon I'm poor not an addict. Its like $250 for a ticket to experience the shittiest transportation possible. I have to save my remaining funds for housing and further travel
>Its like $250 for a ticket to experience the shittiest transportation possible.
It's $108 on their website if you go next week. More than I expected since the last bus trip I did was $30 but still.
$128 and I have to get to Billings by tomorrow night. Guess I'm hitchhiking. Really wish I got more replies off craigslist other than gay sex predators
Fuck yeah SD thread. I want to move to Sioux Falls. Everything about it looks fantastic. But I've yet to find any issues and I don't want to learn the hard way. What do you guys think about it?
It's a big shipping and industry city, that's about it. What specifically interests you about SD?
Low rent, the industries that are there interest me for work, a big city in a small state so there's a good mix of social interaction but also wildlife and national parks to see, and after living in Iowa for two years before moving back to Texas, I'd rather deal with cold and snow over 110+ degree summers.
It gets close to that hot here too. There's essentially east and west SD and almost nothing in between except grasslands. West side has the black hills which are beautiful. All the tourism is here too.
South Dakota is full of native Americans though, and they are fucking terrible
Is there any immediate problems to worry about, Natives or otherwise? Any parts of Sioux Falls to avoid? I want to know of any issues so I don't have to waste my time and money on something that sucks but everything I've seen looks great.
The natives are a big problem. They have houses and there's plenty of jobs but they'd rather beg and get drunk. They're aggressive asking for money too. Very common sight to see them passed out on side walks with an empty bottle of alcohol. Not sure about falls, but I'm sure it's got some dangerous areas. In rapid the northeast section is the place to avoid. I've only personally seen the west part of falls, and it's mostly housing complexes on the edge of the never ending grasslands. Oil industry is on that side too.
Very interesting. The only thing I've seen is on the southwest side of Falls, since apartment complexes have "diversity" that make living there a pain. But shouldn't be too hard to avoid. Thank you for this information. Still seems like a good place to go overall.
Visited RC for the first time earlier this year. Was shocked what a dump it was
I had a gun pointed at me while attempting to hitchhike today. Spoiler, I didn't make it to billings
Story time pls
kek same here but I hooked up with a tinder slut who had giant tits so it was a good trip
> big city in a small state
>big city
>population <200,000
You must be from fucking nowhere.
I've grown up in nowhere places so that may explain it. Sioux Falls looks like a good middle ground. I'd rather be dead than live in a place like NYC.
Go to williston, watford city or Dickinson North Dakota
>No car
How walkable is Rapid City? I used to know a QT there, help me find her and I'll give you a lift.
Not very walkable, it's pretty spread out unless you're in the downtown area. And even then, there are a ton of alcoholics and junkies lurking
Kek, I'm from there, and moving back soon. I'll post here again if this thread is still alive, and if you're still stuck in Rapid, I'll give you a ride to Billings for $100 (crypto is cool, too). Sorry to hear you got a gun pulled on you, OP.
