Does anyone have the Kaipak 38 pack and what is the minimum height of it when empty? Fjällravens site says the height is 65cm and I need a 55cm pack for it to be carry-on size. Could get Kaipak 38 for chump change rn, but I'd like to know that before I pull the trigger.

Just got this for $100. I almost feel like it's too much of a bargain for some reason, with other bags going for over $200 and what not.
65cm will get past basically any flight attendant or gate agent in the world, fyi. its width that gets you, not as much height.
This baby right here
>tough as nails
>attention grabbing from the ladies who think you're a military chad
>TSA and security doesn't dare open it for the same reason
>fits everything
>easy to secure and carry
>wards off theives who think you're a navy seal
No reason to have anything else , wheels are for women and kids.
>breaks your back and makes you look poor
Heh, nothing personal kid
Sauce?
I have a normal school backpack because I don't want airlines to try to overcharge me
>this many homosexuals in one thread
The miniumum requirement for any real male traveller is 90L unless you are some pussy that just goes for 2-3 weeks before returning to moms basement.
Ive done multiple trips in pic related. >chased by banshees in Bolivia
>negotiated for hostage in Mogadishu
>slept wild in the tajiks during a -40C blizzard
..but then again this bag/lifestyle isnt really what you limp dick selfie stick homosexuals are looking for is it? Thats what I thought.
I'm thinking about traveling for 6 months with only a 25l backpack
Am I moronic? First time doing this
Why a 25L and not a 40L ? Both fit on carry-on
Obiosly also just dpeends what u r gunna bring broo
Idk some airlines have pretty strict sizes like ryanair
Do you think no one will give a shit with a 40L one? I don't want to pay for it
Depends. Are you a homosexual that needs dildo and or lubricant storage only? Then go with the 25L. Otherwise man up and get a real bag.
i want more storage but i want it to count as a personal item instead of cabin bag because ill be taking a lot of flights and dont wanna bother with it
im not sure how strict airlines are with this kinda stuff
Not all the time do airlines really check if you have a carry on or a personal item. If they do check you'll get ass raped by a gate fee because a 25l bag is a lot bigger than a purse or laptop bag... That being said I bring a pretty big reusable grocery bag and keep my dirty clothes, liquids, and travel pillow in it as a personal item and no one has ever said shit about me technically having two carry on sized things
Literally the oppose of what you just said is true.
>30L bags are for soi babies who need room for their lingerie and dildos.
Real men are minimalists. They don't need toys, only essentials.
>bedframe
>lampshades
>more than 1 bulb
Bloat.
Depends where you're going. You could easily get by in SEA with a 25l so long as you're not a hair and soap product gay and a tank top wearing chad
Imagine spending all this money on a stupid backpack. The only thing I bring with me on my travels is a single carton of milk.
Post your gear or I will declare you a liar and you'll be extremely embarrassed.
I agree though, seeing people with big bags you just know they bought for their current trip is cringe but it's none of your business unless they obliviously hit us with it
got this 46L for 140€ and been traveling Europe for almost 2 months now. fits my laptop, sleeping bag (it makes u look slightly less trashy if your sleeping bag isn't exposed) and some clothes (a few t shirts, jeans, jacket, sweater), plus i strap my boots on the side. acts like a good pillow. has done me very well. ive slept on the street almost every day and walked long distances in the heat
im not a tryhard who needs to withstand -40F in a European summer during a heatwave when its 42ºC btw so it may not work for you
You're doing what vagrant holiday did then? I want to do something similar. Are you using a bivvy or tent, sleeping pad etc?
I have a porter 46 and its awful backpacking bag. zero back support and terrible for any sort of SighSee recreation. the straps really dig in after about fifteen minutes.
great for everything else though. i dont think you can fit nearly as much in any other bag absolutely guaranteed to carry on with airline in the world. and its comfortable enough to handle getting around the airport. actually one of my favorite overall bags, but an example of why you kind of should have more than just one bag in your arsenal if you really do travel a ton. right tool for the job, etc.
SighSee is full of such homosexuals. You don't need all that useless shut and you don't need to buy a brand. Go buy a surplus bag and get going
Also an outist so I want one bag for both. Surplus is fricking terrible, I've had Dutch and British stuff
Retail is terrible. Surplus is fine and cheap. You are a homosexual. Just admit it already, it's current year
