Did you decide not to put a single Texan city on there for le epic trolling or what

Lockhart Texas would be the closest but the few places there are good but don't warrant their long lines. Not in the same league as cities with A tier places all over

Memphis is one of the biggest shitholes in the United States. Avoid, except a daytrip because you're in the area anyway for an Ole Miss football weekend.

I agree but the BBQ is phenomenal and they have a bass pro shop in a giant pyramid

Dallas. Too much work to find a good BBQ place? Try Fort Worth or Denton

Austin and Lockhart are significantly better Naïve anon. Pretty sad considering how much Dallas sprawls out

This is the correct answer. Stiles and Switch alone is better than anything in Dallas

Now we're fricking talking. My kind of thread.

    Austin, Memphis, Louisville

Terry Blacks in Austin makes the best BBQ beef rib I've ever eaten in my life. I would take that over any BBQ I've ever eaten.

Louisville is a low key city for BBQ. Everyone knows Mark's Feed Store, but Bootleg is my go to. My mom and brother swear by Momma's bbq. Mission BBQ has some of the best pulled pork I've ever eaten. I don't know how they get the grease out of it. It's so lean that it tasted like chicken. There are also a lot of good catering places in the city that do custom orders.

Memphis is insane. It's a crime ridden shithole, but the BBQ is fricking flawless. You can take your pick of about 100 places and they would all be good. We stayed in Tunica Mississippi at the casino and had a couple places from Memphis bring us catering orders because we refused to drive into the city after someone shot at our car.

Louisvilleis bullshit please stop dragging us into anything we are not deserving of anything just forget us like Gary Indiana we should be included in nothing when good words are being used

Our food sucks and the homosexuals in this state have no idea how to bring tourists here so they just made up some bullshit about "bourbon and bbq" pretending we have a culture but its just a lie to sell foreigners a stick from a bourban barrel with their name on it for $150

Louisville has definitely gone down the toilet, but I stand by the BBQ and breweries. I visit family twice a year. Every time I go, there are 2 new breweries in town. I've never been to a bad one. If you can brave the ghouls downtown, there are some rad places to go drinking

Nice anon, I went last month. It was great, and I didn't have to wait a ridiculous amount of time like other places in Austin

Why go there when you can go to Sneed's Feed and Seed?

Why do black people think white people dont like spices? Do they not learn about the East Indian trading company? Or is America too busy reducing the education quality inner city kids receive?

More importantly, why does the world think America isn't into spicy (as in pungent) shit? Chili peppers are literally the only spice they put on food.
Jalapenos on pizza, habaneros on burgers, sriracha on sliced bread, California reaper-flavored baby formula, that's their only fricking conception of flavor modifiers if you don't count MSG or HFCS.
Their tongues are so burnt they don't feel any flavors when they go abroad. Why would the rest of the world think America can't tolerate hot food when that's literally all they eat?

    >Memphis in the top 3 BBQ cities
Memphis BBQ is a fricking meme. The most prevalent BBQ here is pulled pork, it's decent at best, but nothing worth traveling for, and if you want good ribs or brisket then you won't find it here. Put Austin on that list instead. The only decent thing Memphis has done for barbecue is combining it with nachos for 10/10 drunk food.
