Why not just work in your hotel room, hostel common area, or so on? Do you really want to pay money to sit next to a bunch of snoring drunks that badly?

i have to take calls, so i would feel bad about disturbing my hotel neighbors. also, they give free coffee and snacks i've heard, which they do not in my hotel.

You know you can't really take calls in a net cafe right? Especially 11pm-7AM, most people go there to pay for a table to sit at because they missed the last train.

        >they give free coffee and snacks i've heard, which they do not in my hotel.
LMAO no, generally you're going to be paying somewhere between 30-40 dollars for 8hrs and yes you do get "free" drink refills but usually you still have to order at least the first. Snacks free? ha. I've done internet cafe's before, not what you think they are and absolutely not for phone calls.

        >hotel
So... just take them in your room or did you misspell hostel? I've just gone to the smoking area or business center of a place for a call or two in the hotel/hostel I've stayed in.

          rent an office

And one I've used in the past as they have 3 day specials is
Your best bet is probably comic busters https://www.コミックバスター.jp/kameiten/13_aoto/ It's a chain so they have multiple another is https://manboo.co.jp/stores/nr_asakusa.php which I hear is okay
This chain has private rooms you're still going to be dumping around 20-30 a night because of "night hour" pricing and you'll probably need VIP(which could be more) as the normal cubes don't have closed off tops to keep sound in.

          Welcome to Japan

thank you for your advice anons. i think i will just work in my hotel room after all. have a good night <3

Go to akihabara and buy a good cheap headset that has a high gain on mic, then just take calls from your PC

i wasn't kidding about renting an office. i'm in asia, i rent a little room at a local business centre. it's safe, quiet, super convenient. super fast internet. general office stuff- free drinks etc. i've got a desk set up with a big monitor etc. it makes such a huge difference to be able to focus on my work especially when i'm working weird hours. costs me about half a day's pay a month.
