Cairo short trip

Is 6 days in Cairo/Egypt enough to experience most of the historical sites, or would this be way too little time?
Arriving on the 8th and departing on the 14th of January is my tentative plan, but wanted some advice.

Cairo is such a fricking shithole man. I spent a day and a half, saw the pyramids, old Cairo and the Bazaar and I'd gladly never go back.
6 days can be too much or too little depending on what you want to do. "Most of the historical sites" can mean anything. Make a list of everything you want to do first and post that. Are you gonna do day tours or hire a private car or just get taxi/uber everywhere?

For Cairo yes, for Egypt as a whole absolutely not.

I've never had so many people touch me on the arm practically pulling me into their shops. Everyone schemes on everything there. They are all in on it too. They weaponzie their kids to be like this. They are worst than the seagulls by the homeless people going through the garbage in Miami.

I think 6 days is enough. I would avoid the pyramids if you've already been there. I would also avoid Khan El-Khaleeli.
Try to check out placed that are popular among Egyptian tourists, these never have the "haggling" or the scumbags you see around the pyramids and Khan El Khaleeli bazaar.
For example, try to check out the following: Baron Empain palace (+ the area around is pretty nice), Muhammad Ali's Palace & Museum in Manial, the new royal mummies museum, the Hanging Church, the St Simon Monastery, Downtown Cairo, Mo'ezz Street, and the other sites at Islamic cairo south of Khan el khaleeli such as Bayt Yakan, the Citadel, the hundreds of mosques, and so on.

I'd say you'd want a little more time, theres lots to do, if you're relatively young you'd also want to consider doing this as an organised tour, you get to see all the sights plus have the benefit of being able to possibly hook up with some Aussie thots
If you have extra time and you're not in a hurry I'd also consider doing Jordan while you're in the area, much nicer country imo

Hilarious how easy pickings half the people are in this thread
Got briefly hassled by like 3 people my entire time in Cairo
Was later told it's because I "walk like an Egyptian" e.g I look like I have somewhere to be and don't stand around gawping like some walking moneybag
