Cream-Stuffed Pastries

Where can I find the best cream-stuffed pastries? Of course places like Europe would have the best, but I'm on a budget and I don't mind some fusion flavors like maybe a coconut cream or even a banana infusion in the cream.

I just want to find somewhere in the world where I can enjoy creamed pastries, that wont break my wallet and I can enjoy everyday with the risk of food poisonings.

moronic thread but I'll answer anyway. They are called krapfen in german speaking countries, in Italy they are called bomboloni alla crema. I think that Naples is pretty famous for fried pastries.

All those options seems just fine and I looked online and they do look delicious. However I see the ambience of the locations to enjoy these creamed foods not as inviting as I would hope.

Are there other locations where no one would judge you in indulging in creamed pastries, particularly with maybe pastries made with more malted flour or maybe semolina (yellow) based holes to stuff this cream in?

Custard filled donuts are common in the UK in general. Lots of random cream filled pastries like Cream horns, custard slices, apple turnovers etc. Any decent bakery will likely have a selection

You may want to check out "afternoon tea". It's a light lunch where you get tea (or coffee or champagne) and a platter full of delicate sandwiches, cakes & patisseries and scones. Scones will be served with clotted cream (ultra thick cream that's spread like butter) and jam. Afternoon Tea is often served in small tea shops in picturesque towns, luxury hotels and country manors. Quality obviously varies massively.

And here's a pic of a typical cream cake selection at a decent bakery. Lots of bakeries are also cafes with seating.

Go to Austria and have a Vanillekrapfen. They're the ones with stripes. The regular ones are filled with apricot jam.
