Why the strait of malaca of course. I like to start my morning with a naked lap around the barbour, before doing my part by shitting near a boat. All that shit swimming makes you thirsty so you’ll want to chug some of that sweet malacan nectar before you get out. No need to thank me fren, the knowledge that you’ll soon be enjoying the best strech of water on earth is all I need.

Best water I saw was probably Gramvousa Island, which also has a kickass venetian fortress on it, its a hard walk up thetr but honestly some jaw dropping views, then a nice beach you can snorkel in, (I brought my own snorkel which I got for cheap at a supermarket) absolutely crystal clear waters. I had a day tour from a boat and also on the same day visited balos lagoon which is really incredible, well worth taking a hike up the hill there to take in the panorama after a swim, my god so beautiful.

You can also go by bus or car to balos but roads are really shitty, boat is better imo. Any tourist place in crete will be settling boat tickets, take a look and think about it. I just got a taxi to the ferry terminal and had a good time

Otherwise, if you've not hiked samaria gorge do it, it's incredible, can be busy but frick, such a good experience. I definitely recommend hiring a hiking stick though, they will offer it, just do it. Then you end up at a clear blue water beach at the end, there's no sand and the rocks are boiling hot on your feet but once you're in the water makes to for it. Also there's tavernas and stuff is you just want to eat. The goat meat is very tasty

I also went to elafonsi beach which is also gorgeous but very busy and full of instathots, but if you're snorkeling who gives a frick.

Threat are all pretty known sights in crete, I usually avoid local travel agents but in this case maybe worth it.

I like traveling in November and December to Greece to escape the cold in NJ. My work gives me three vacation works and like 3 sick and 5 personal days. I prefer to never take sick days and just come into to work sick and infect my bastard co-workers so I can get more vacation time in.

The gorges are closed this time of year because they swell with too much water to allows people to safely traverse. That is what a Cretan native who I called told me. So given the time of year I prefer traveling, I will never see the inside of those gorges...

I was trawling with some friends about 60 miles of the panhandle of florida and we hit the bluewater. Colder, saltier, and crystal clear. You could see untill the water was too deep to return light. I could clearly see the boat even 200 feet away underwater. Surreal feeling being in water that clear. It was also about 600 feet of water.

El Nido in the Philippines was where I saw the clearest water. A close second was the east coast beaches of Nicaragua.

    Great places!
