I thought December to February was supposed to be dry season. I arrived at lamai beach yesterday with my gf, it's been raining all day and the waves in the sea are too high to go swimming. the internet lied to me, what the frick do I do?

    Nah November into December is rainy af. If anyone is lucky it clears before Christmas/NYE. The western side of the South has a different rainy season than the Gulf side.

    It's been dry and sunny in Luzon for weeks now. Even November had only cloudy days with the occasional brief spell of drizzle. Northern PH is drier than SoCal in the winter months.

        thanks for the compliment. I looked it up and that islands name actually comes from Japanese Imperial Troops going there in winter rainy weather commenting it's a little cold there. And the locals not wanting to be killed and honor the troops said that's what that place was called. So in a way I was correct.
