Hello, thanks to my job rigth now I live in Mexico City, next month I will move to Buenos Aires Argentina, I know elementary mexican spanish and Belice english, I don't know nothing about your capital, my salary will be $3500 USD per month, Can I rent a flat or room in a house guest and live confortable with that?
Please give me advice about places for rent or where I need to avoid.
Thanks
>my salary will be $3500 USD per month, Can I rent a flat or room in a house guest and live confortable with that?
You can rent a house large enough for 3 families to live in, and still have $2500 left to live like a king
wait...what? my office will be near General Belgrado in Buenos Aires, is that a expensive place?
rent is expensive only in pesos, you can rent a huge ass apartment for less than 1000$/month in almost any neighborhood (except puerto madero)
Thanks, Where are the bad places to never go in Buenos Aires?
you can find the answer through any search engine
the average monthly wage in Beunos Aires is like 300 (three hundred) dollars, you clueless turd
a high paid doctor might make around 1200 dollars a month
a salary of 3500 usd puts you in 1%er territory
>a salary of 3500 usd puts you in 1%er territory
Hell yeah! I am going to search for fuckboys
why do I only see shitboxes for 1000€ in ba on airbnb? where do i find those dealz?
Just dont come here. Stay in Mexico.
Exchange your money with the sketchy people, that's literally the only way to get a good rate.
t. Urubro who also gets paid in USD and visits Argentina like 5 times a year.
Is fine if I get my money via HSBC? Can I get USD in the ATM?
Yes you can, not all of them tho, those than don't have USD will try to exchange the amount for you which is what you don't wanna do since the rate is like half of what you could get.
Also be careful where you swipe your card since there's a lot of people trying to clone cards for fraud. I have two family members who got screwed like that, which is the reason why I always bring money with me.
And depending on whether you wanna stay 3 months or more, you should be able to access better deals for renting a flat, which btw, they are currently way more expensive than the last time I was there.
As for safety you should be fine if you don't act as a retard. If someone asks for money don't even reply back, just move your head and keep walking, otherwise they're gonna get pretty intense trying to persuade you.
For food you're definitely going to feel like a fucking king, it just doesn't make any sense. Enjoy.
If you live in CdMx. KYS.
I will leave in two weeks, I hope to get a good time in Buenos Aires, Mexico City is cool, I expected for crime and violence without end but find many cool things, Bellas Artes and Chaputepec are really cool, the main plaza is amazing, the s.x market si average, many european and latin girls, but no asian girls...I hope Buenos Aires have a much better market and get a good place to stay, my spanish is far for perfect (and my english) but I am sure my mexican accent will give me problems...rigth?
I’ll be in Buenos Aires for the month of March. From my research it seems like airbnb is not an option. Hotels in the nice part of town are around $100-150 per night which seems expensive but maybe I’ll get a different price when I’m in the country.
I hear id better to ask before arrive to Buenos Aires
