I genuinely don't understand how "muh freedom"-loving Americans let themselves be cucked like this. literally no other nationality has to bother filling out taxes back home. and imagine getting a good (100k+) job and being taxed fricking TWICE for it. actual assrape.
Very true. America's wealth is derived (more than 100%) on having the reserve currency, issuing paper (or digital paper) and getting goods from around the world in exchange. And when America prints too much money and has 8% inflation everyone else has 15% inflation. It's a great system while it lasts.
The actual reason is the vast majority of Americans do not ever leave the country (native born americans who have a passport is the lowest in the developed world) and do not care about what happens to people who frick off outside the country. In fact, many tend to see the rest of the world as inherently unfree, living there as being inherently supportive of that and suspicious. There's no political will to change that part of the tax code unlike say, lowering gasoline tax.
Indonesia are offering a 5 year nomad visa - only worth going to Java. No tax ! I'm trying to make this happen. Any shitty online western job will be enough to live well there.
Look on Airbnb, you can rent an entire villa in Bali for the same price as a suburban shitbox studio apartment in the US per month. And that’s probably the upper threshold, with a connect or a local agent you could probably rent one for even cheaper.
1800e in poland and hungary is plenty, dont know what youre smoking. Rental of 2 room flat within warsaw center is around 600-700e, 1100e for food and other stuff is very sufficient for upper middleclass, you can probably still have some money leftover. If you pick some smaller city that easily become 300-400e rental and around 600-800e for other stuff per month. Neet lifestyle would be something around 800-1000e, depends what do you consider as neet (cheap food/single room flat ext). If you want to rent very nice place in warsaw (for 1 person) and eat daily in very good restaurant/hang in bars it will be probably cost you around +8k zl so around 1500e-1600e.
You can also enroll in my course, which is a 6 month program of $399/month, and at the end you get a certificate saying that you are a certified digital nomad.
I have a question for this topic
So I'm a Brit, and I'm planning on taking the plunge and getting a small modest van and doing some traveling whilst maintaining my current job which work have agreed to as I'm valuable.
My only concern really is internet as I'll need it for my work, is it a case of getting a 5G antenna installed on the van, and how does it work with Sim Cards? I've got a contract with O2 which is unlimited Data, can I somehow use the sim in my antenna to get unilimted data whereever I can get a signal, or when I get to say France/Spain/Italy will I need to get an unlimited SIM from one of those countiries service providors?
I just want to know if I need to be looking at getting a new SIM per country or if I can use my existing one or even a seperate SIM from my own country to be used in one of those places.
I hear it’s costs a shit load
To be honest I don’t need a lot of internet, I can use my phone to hotspot and that works I just want extra security as I don’t want to constantly be using my phone if I’m in an area with slightly bad signal, I assumed a frick off onni directional antenna will grab 3/4/5G from wherever I am so long as I’m not deep in a valley or giant forest
Because of brexit all of us brits lost the right to free EU roaming, cant remember if O2 was one of the companies that still gives it to us but it might be better to get a european SIM and see if that lets you do free data roaming across different countries
Do you pay taxes? I heard you don't have to pay taxes for 100 thousand if you move to another country.
For americans foreign earned income exclusion is usually below 6 figures income, but you still have to report bank accounts and other assets

You got that right why do you pretend like you understand the US tax code ? Huh huh huh?
We own all the banks and the dollar is the world's reserve currency, whether you realize it or not you're paying taxes to America too dude

That sound sweet, beside the weather being super hot/high humidity. Whats the cost of living in no shit bungalow renral with ac + food cost per month?

You can do very well in bali for $1000-1500/mth
i get 1800€ a month in passive income, and can live anywhere within Europe, where do i go bro's?
Balkans. Does it have to be actually in the EU?
yes unfortunately, but i guess Greece counts as Balkan?
This anon knows. Balkans are the 'unknown?' Gem of Europe. Holy shit serbia and monteBlack rules.
>Jk it sucks keep out coomers. Serbian qts r all mine.
>i get 1800€ a month in passive income
That's not even enough for one month's rent in Amsterdam.
I know, which is why I am thinking more along the lines of Spain, Greece, Italy, Croatia etc.
I don't need much to be happy, other than the internet, sun and maybe eat out once a month
What's your passive source of income, anon? If you don't mind me asking. I'm a freelancer and I'm looking into passive income ideas as well.
To live NEET style then Poland or Bulgaria to be outside Shengen. However that isn't a lot of money to be financially sound anywhere.
If you want to make that stretch further consider Vietnam, Argentina and India.
