Hello sighsee. I'm going to Europe from November to Mid-February.
I was just wondering what entertaining festivals/parades/celebrations are on during that time?
So far i've got Amsterdam's Light Festival, Tamborrada in Spain, Krampuslauf, Perchtenlauf and St Nicholas Day in Austria and Armistice Day (not sure what ceremonies are on where for that one).
you could try bonfire night in east sussex. it all goes a little bit wicker man
they don't really welcome outsiders though
In Mid-November, many Swiss towns have events where children (and sometimes adults) parade around lamps made from turnips, one of them is a regional spectacle.

Hopping on this thread, just how miserable is eastern europe (Poland, Hungary, Baltics) in the winter, or is it pretty? I don't mind the rain and cold. Is it grey cloudy skies every day? Does it snow a lot? Is there lots of winter activities going on? Specifically at the end of December through the beginning of February.
>end of December
Regardless of the weather you can enjoy the Christmas decorations which will disappear during January, earlier for Catholic areas, later for Orthodox areas.
Not him but I had the same question. Are places like (Greece, Albania, Bulgaria, etc.) worth visiting in February-March?
It‘s off season for a reason, you won‘t really be able to do much and the weather won‘t be pleasant
The Baltics used to get lots of snow up until 2015 or sl, then climate change fucked that up. Hungary is completely snowless. Poland only has snow in the mountains in the deep south of the country, and only for like a month or two in January/early Februry.
It‘s for the most part grey and miserable and everyone is depressed. Avoid, unless you‘re invited to a local Christmas dinner or something.
>climate change
College retards will believe anything and should be disregarded
Ok Kyle
What if its the only time I'll ever be able to visit these places due to having to start a career afterwards and not having time ever again? I live in shithole America where I'd be lucky to get 3 weeks of unpaid vacation
That's God's punishment for being tax cattle who funds globohomo and bidens war on Ukraine and Russia
Is that krumpfoot?
