try different drinks you get at a cafe - classic coffee varieties, weird soft drinks, medicinal alcohols, classic wienertails

milan is a big city in the country, it has many niches if you are looking for something specific.
normie tourist stuff - some i would enjoy, some to satisfy your gf's social media flexing
Duomo - worth going inside imo. many people like going ontop - depends budget
Piazza duomo nice view, lots of crowds so lots of gypsies and illegals but after sunset or sunrise it is cool. if Inter Milan win champions league and you are there - it will be pandemonium
Galleria Vittorio Emanuele - fancy oldfashion mall, lots of design detail. free to walk through. tourist thing to spin on the balls of the bull of turin. fancy cafes are popular in milan, are they always worth it? depends on your tastes - food+drink in general if solo, i would rather go to hole in the wall with no wait than a crowded place that was "better"(yet i have exceptions to this also).
In galleria there is caffe camparino (formerly caffe zucca) which is named after Zucca the amaro spirit made from rhubarb despite the name meaning pumpkin. I dont remember what wienertail Zucca is used for but im not so into it. Camperino i suppose is named after campari family who made different wienertail mixes.
marchesi 1824 is another fancy caffe partnered with prada - there is one above prada shop in galleria mall, there are a few other in the city tho
also in piazza duomo there is terraza aperol that everything is branded to the aperol spritz - a drink you can enjoy everywhere in the city.. so consumer photo op but nice views if you get a good seat.
La Rinascente is a fancy department store equivalent to harrods there are a few around italy, but this one is prime position - top floor is their food section, few over priced restaurants but have balcony views down on duomo.
Signorvino is a chain restaurant you may not be interested however - it may be less of a draw than these fancier restaurants - if you were looking for a place to enjoy a glass of wine and a few olives while looking at the duomo, maybe consider popping in.

    Avoid locals.

No seriously, they're not racist you just have to be fluent in Italian.

take a train to Turin and/or Venice, far superior cities.
