Greenland is the world's largest island you idiot
*Australia is the world's largest island
Sweaty, sorry not sorry to inform you that Greenland (Danish territory) is European.
It's geographically in North America though. Martinique is a North American island too, even if it's French.
>North America's second largest island

Australia is larger than Greenland dipshit
I’ve been there anon
> East vs West
Only been to a couple of spots on the west coast. East is very sparsely populated. West is still sparse but less so
> Time to go
I was there at the height of northern hemisphere summer and it was still chilly. Winter must be absolutely brutal.
> Budget
There’s not much to spend money on. Everything is expensive. Settlements are connected via air or ferry; snowmobiles and dogs used for local journeys. Book accom, transport and activities in advance. Honestly start planning a trip to see whether you have the resources.
> must sees
Ilulissat Is the most set up town for tourists. You have an enormous, huge, colossal glacier constantly calving icebergs. Masses of sled dogs so you can go for a ride on those. Wildlife in the area is surprisingly good, with a bit of luck and effort you can see musk ox and narwhal. Polar bears are normally only found way up north, if one appears further south the locals will kill it and skin it.
I mean if you’re at all interested in visiting this place you want to come for the rugged, unspoilt high arctic scenery and the Inuit somehow scraping a living off the seals. It’s difficult and expensive to get to which means it hasn’t yet been spoiled by throngs of idiots (look at Iceland over the last decade). L
How's the cooming in Greenland?
Iceland is North America's second largest island. Greenland is the largest one
