Hey sighsee I'm visiting Los Angeles for a few days at the end of the month and looking for sights to see or things to do. Worth mentioning I have 0 interest in Hollywood/movies/celebs. I am from rural fuck Pennsylvania and haven't really experienced a big city yet. Have you been to LA before? What was your experience like?
>Budget
~$500
>$500
>LA
lol, lmao even.
I didn't want to blog in the OP post but I only really have 1 day to take to see the city, the rest of my trip will be camping with friends in the desert. Just looking to take advantage of my free time there.
LA isn't really a city like NYC. its mostly urban sprawl with only a few high rise buildings. its completely unremarkable.
Lemme help you out OP. Does the 500$ include hotel or no? Depending, I would reccomend staying in Santa Monica, rent a cheap car and head over to Long Beach ti see the aquarium, and lastly going to Venice and fucking around. Go to the pier, do some shopping in Venice, go to the aquarium, and if you get bored head over to the Cove. LA is great but you can’t really do it in a day. This way you’ll see a lot of it. Eat at a small breakfast place outside, then get some lunch at a random spot that looks good in Santa Monica. For dinner either ball out at some overpriced Michelin star restaurant, or try In-N-Out. Have fun anon.
4x4 animal style is a guilty pleasure for sure.
Nothing guilty about in n out, great quality for the price
>Does the 500$ include hotel or no?
No, I won't be needing hotel/car. I'm staying with a friend who lives in Torrance. The 500$ is just to fuck around with for the day if I even choose to spend that much. I will consider the aquarium. I'm excited to try in&out, what is animal style? I hear about it a lot
Visit the Point Vicente Lighthouse, Sunken city, and Korean Friendship bell, for free things along the coast
Will definitely check these out thanks
you're the only other person I've seen recommend the KFB and Sunken City
San Pedro is so based
I used to drive down from Fresno all the time with my buddies when we were like 18-21
>Sunken city, and Korean Friendship bell
Were you the guy who recommended that in that thread I made a year ago about me driving from southern California to San Francisco?
No I've only been recently actually. Like three weeks ago. Whole area down there is beautiful. Sunken city is alot more interesting than Centralia PA too
I was yes
Good to see u again Anon
You too. Thanks again for those recs. It was cool. That trip was seriously one of the best ever. That drive was like heaven. Don't know what I'll do this year. Maybe Utah or something.
Go to Malibu and hike around the mountains. Go to the mash site. Hike to the Hollywood sign.
>500$
Check out skid row and try to live like the locals there. You know what they say, when in Rome, do as the Romans do
