Hey?

Hey SighSee I'm visiting Los Angeles for a few days at the end of the month and looking for sights to see or things to do. Worth mentioning I have 0 interest in Hollywood/movies/celebs. I am from rural frick Pennsylvania and haven't really experienced a big city yet. Have you been to LA before? What was your experience like?

I didn't want to blog in the OP post but I only really have 1 day to take to see the city, the rest of my trip will be camping with friends in the desert. Just looking to take advantage of my free time there.

LA isn't really a city like NYC. its mostly urban sprawl with only a few high rise buildings. its completely unremarkable.

Lemme help you out OP. Does the 500$ include hotel or no? Depending, I would reccomend staying in Santa Monica, rent a cheap car and head over to Long Beach ti see the aquarium, and lastly going to Venice and fricking around. Go to the pier, do some shopping in Venice, go to the aquarium, and if you get bored head over to the Cove. LA is great but you can’t really do it in a day. This way you’ll see a lot of it. Eat at a small breakfast place outside, then get some lunch at a random spot that looks good in Santa Monica. For dinner either ball out at some overpriced Michelin star restaurant, or try In-N-Out. Have fun anon.

No, I won't be needing hotel/car. I'm staying with a friend who lives in Torrance. The 500$ is just to frick around with for the day if I even choose to spend that much. I will consider the aquarium. I'm excited to try in&out, what is animal style? I hear about it a lot

Go to Malibu and hike around the mountains. Go to the mash site. Hike to the Hollywood sign.

Check out skid row and try to live like the locals there. You know what they say, when in Rome, do as the Romans do
