Is Portugal dangerous? I remember thinking many of the shops looked very paranoid about security and there were gun shops in lisbon. It didn't come across particularly dangerous other than that and some dude trying to sell me drugs on that big square with the statue and large Doric column looking building.
By contrast I was super paranoid about security in Cambodia, but the local shops there did not seem to give a fuck about security.
It's not fool proof but kids/families walking around in the open as well as hot women in sizeable numbers are a good indicator of how safe an area is.
At least this is my schizo theory. Dangerous areas are full of unfuckable women, full of single men with no prospects and have no kids unless one of the ugly women is carrying her crotch spawn with her
of course this can backfire shitholes also have kids wandering around straight out of that one dave chappele sketch and attractive women in places where no woman would rightly be is also a red flag imo
It's actually not a schizo theory and that is how poor/3rd world people navigate their cities without getting in trouble. You look at what the people look like, the density of population and whether or not you're surrounded only by men or are there families around. The absence of women is usually a good sign that the place is not woman friendly, which usually means it might be unsafe for tourists.
It also works with restaurants in certain countries. Family our couples-frequented restaurants are more likely to be good ones. restaurants only with men in it should be avoided if you don't want to be disturbed by some shitty scammer, or get diarrhea.

or real touristy spots. I don't think this applies to resturants as much. best resturants I've been to sometimes were only populated by old locals and not that busy.
Chris Rock recently has a bit about this. Pretty much how you described.
If you're in a wealthy area in the middle of the day, you'll see women and children out and about.
If you're in a poor area in the middle of the day, you'll see random men instead.
Large groups of younger men hanging around is often a bad sign.
this. Anywhere working-age, capable people are just hanging about outside their home at during working days or hours. Randomly walking or staying present. Just don't be there. Source: mans who used to live in squalor/ghetto and now live in a wealthy neighborhood. If you don't have business being there- don't fucking be there. Can't believe still have to tell tourist dummies this.

99% of people who can cause you problems in a foreign country will be men between ages 16 and 30. If they're not at work during the day, they are likely bums who use "alternative" methods to obtain money.
This is actually the only thread the answer needs. Young men, regardless of ethnicity or culture, standing around doing nothing in invariably a recipe for disaster. It's also usually evocative of a country that is in economic or moral turmoil (since they should be developing their lives in some way), so it pays a meta role too.
In America (or at least on the west coast), you can tell an area is a shithole based off of the frequency of smoke shops in a 2 block radius.
Especially if they have huge “KRATOM” neon lights outside
So you admit that you have no idea how to determine the danger levels or are in denial.
The average /misc/cel tourist in Paris will never relax around black commuters in the RER just to have his wallet stolen by gypsy kids.

get real they're innocent kids who you can knock out cold if you wanted to. Americans LARP about gypsies bc they are jealous europe doesn't have naggers, so they want to create a european bogeyman that can match the shittiness of american existence
Kebab shops everywhere.
Welfare housing (ugly commie blocks)
About a month ago. I involved in a fight in Turkey with an immigrant. The reason was my glances seemed hostile to him.
Simply by looking at the shops in the area:
What kind of shops are there and what kind of security precautions do they have?

That rules out most of the 1st world countries
College campuses in the US are generally safe and chalk full of good looking women. Also upscale shopping centers

Are there a bunch of people standing around at weird times, namely late into the night
Are people looking at you weird
>Are people looking at you weird
This is another good indicator.
Graffitis and how people dress.

angle of average forehead; protrusion of average lower jaw
A very simple rule is:
The wealthier an area, the safer it is.
If the locals are brown, it's going down.
If you cant book a trip back home

Why wouldn't you just use skin color?
Because it is not a reliable indicator in ethnically homogeneous countries.
It works 100%, kek and you don't even understand the difference between ethnicity and race
Okay, so tell me how you can use skin color to determine the danger levels in places like Ethiopia or Maine.
Easy, Ethiopia isn't safe nor are the parts of Maine where Obama shipped 1,000,000 Somalis. Why do you polcels make things complicated
So you admit that you have no idea how to determine the danger levels or are in denial.

What kind of retard goes to Paris? A polcel
By how poor it is.
Skin color is the only way to tell if a place is dangerous in the US.
