How do you guys travel after seeing shit like this, people just smoking some weed basically can get you locked up for 10+ years. How do you get over the constant threat of potentially being locked up for something small that isn't illegal in your country.

How about not doing illegal things in a foreign country? You aren't entitled to do anything you want just cause you're not a local.

I'm from america and weed is legal in my state making it my human right. How you can go to some place abroad while it's legal for you and have people throw you in jail for a long time seems wrong.

So you get arrested for possession in Thailand. You claim it's legal in your home state and therefore it should be legal in Thailand as well because it's your human right. Wow.

Not even there too hot, thinking japan but they have really strict laws for everything. Seems so stupid for a country who is supposedly so advanced, that you can't even bring something legal for you to enjoy the country more.

Drugs and fucking kids are the only things that will lead you to prison abroad.
Everything else is can be solved with $20

90% of the episodes are stories of drugdealers during the 80s 90s 00s. The rest are doctors and shit kidnapped in warzones.

This remind me of a couple of American Lesbians who went to my country (Indonesia) and live in Bali. The problem is they live in my country overstaying their tourist visa, bribing local immigration officials to ignore them and creating business here without permit and not paying taxes.
When they start making videos about how to live here illegally it pissed everyone because they don't pay taxes and claiming that Indonesia is alphabet soup friendly.
We are NOT alphabet soup friendly (lots of people pissed when UK embassy recently fly a alphabet soup flag alongside UK flag) and we don't need that kind of woke gayry here.

And look at how American media
    https://www.usatoday.com/story/travel/news/2021/01/20/bali-deported-american-traveler-promoting-island-lgbt-friendly/4226891001/
Portray them as victims. They claim they don't make money in rupiah so no need to pay taxes (lbullshit for "We make money here but we accept it in dollar so no taxes nanananana!")

Keep your woke bullshit in burgerland.

My take on drug laws in other countries:
    >whatever the law is over there, don't break it
    >if you're caught doing drugs and there's plenty of evidence, you deserve what's coming for you
    >if they try to arrest you on a technicality (example: they found a minuscule trace underneath your shoe that could've been picked up from literally anywhere), that's actually unreasonable

Dubai is insane because they're a bunch of new rich who don't know how to act properly.
They even outlawed being unemployed there.
      And the rich are insane
I remember an instagram model tell a story about how she's paid by a rich Dubai guy so she can have sex with three men, one of them is underage and it's supposed to be his first time.

It was their tactic to not pay their employees.
          >Got foreigner as employee
          >Hold their passport
          >Project's done
          >Fire employee
          >Employee can't leave the country because boss kept the passport
          >Got arrested for not working, got deported after serving time, can't claim unpaid salary
          >Boss laugh all the way to the bank
          Not based

Having been to India myself, I'm convinced that these people are gullible chucklefucks who have been sold a pipe dream.

              >somehow got acquainted with a local pajeet
              >he's telling me about his career aspirations
              >his plan 100% involves moving out of India (can't blame him, I guess)
              >thought he was going to name countries that pajeets usually move to (UK, US, Canada, Singapore)
              >he mentions UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, South Africa, and Russia

UAE was always a wild card, many actually found good employer. There's even a lot of story from Indonesia how Indonesian women became part of the harem (willingly) and became super rich.
There's even a story about a sick Arab who was treated by his Indonesian servant and he got a dream that told him to marry her. So he did and he's cured from his illness. The woman only ask for him to build a mosque in her city.

I don't know about Russia though, I heard a story about how North Korean force their people to become cheap laborer in Russia and other Balkan countries and the money was pocketed by the govt.

dont do weed in Asia :
    > its 30 bucks a gram
    > everybody wants a puff
    > the crowd it attracts is actually shadier compared to our stoner communities back home. Dealers are facing possible life sentences or death penalties.
    > Asians are fucking snitches on foreigners, they might not recognize the weed but if they do shit will hit the fan, especially if you smoke at home
    >some workplaces have drug tests and weed is the kind of crap that stays on your hair for weeks

if I may, in the end all drugs arent worth taking on a regular basis. Treat your weed like you'd treat molly back home, as a yearly basis thing, e.g when you come back home.

it's not rocket science. Avoid travelling in dictatorships with a high corruption index. If you do, know the lore of the land accurately. Dubai may be a degenerate shithole but its almost the same laws as in Sharjah which is far more conservative, the only difference is how they get upheld. a lot of muslim countries, but also classic dictatorships like China, have all the legal framework to be very strict but the cops and customs have directives to let it fly. but they totally have the right to actually enforce the law. also, corruption. sounds like the swiss guy was too much of an autist to understand that the guys in customs wanted a bakshish.

if you do travel in these types of countries, be as clean as possible. poppy seeds are known to fuck up drug tests. dont have anything to do with weed and other drugs for two months. If you take any medicine, have your prescription at the ready at the very least and make sure its not forbidden BEFORE buying your ticket.
    >also, act completely neutral and oblivious

    >t. national of one these shitholes.

I've watched this show a few times and every single episode has either been smuggling drugs and get caught, doing drugs and get caught, decide to be a gay and fuck dudes in a muslim country where it's illegal and get caught, etc etc. All episodes has been equal to you going to Tiananmen square in China, pull out a taiwanese flag and start screaming shit about the CCP and Xi, and when they arrest you you're surprised by it. Just don't break the law, it's not hard

      This.
Went into watching this show because I wanted to see some stuff, out of all the seasons I think there are like 2-3 people where it was pure mistaken identity. Series is largely this,

      >70% chance it's a euro, 20% chance it's a mutt, 10% chance leaf
      >gets approached to make some quick cash
      >gets told to go to the airport 90% of the time
      >caught
      >WTF HOW?!?!?!
      >gets shat on by the government
      >UGGGH JAILS ARE NOT LIKE MY HOME COUNTRY!
      >plz don't do drugs kids!

I don't think there is an episode in which anyone who was just smoking a single joint or did some x was featured, the show should really be called 'how I became a drug traffiker and was caught'. If you're around someone smuggling drugs or offering to make quick cash, just say no and walk away. It's that simple

I remember in one episode where the guy succeeded in smuggling stuff because he keep smearing a shit ton of liquid soap or something on his package. He only got caught when it was his friend who wrap the package and being a lazy cunt only smear a little bit of soap. He got lolarrested and it was hilarious.

Its Legal to smoke weed in Canada, what if I smoked some weed in Canada like a week before traveling to another country and for some reason they find THC in my system, would I be fucked?

Could I just explained I took weed in Canada for medical reasons and its legal in my country and I do not intend to do weed in their country, would I be fine?

In some countries, it's actually illegal to have drugs in your system, even if those same drugs were taken outside of that country. They don't really care for the context.

Though I wonder if THC can be detected in a person who doesn't even smoke weed, but just happened to breathe next to a person who does. It would be extra bullshit if you got arrested for something you didn't even do.

People who get arrested abroad are fucking retards. This is very rare, and the guy probably did something so disrespectful that it landed them there. I've been living in a shithole country for almost a year and have not ever had problems with the police. Just keep your head, don't be a fucking pig, and treat people with respect wherever you go. It's pretty simple to stay safe if you carry yourself with pride and respect for those around you.
