How touristic is Norway?

I studied hotel management in Spain and I was thinking about moving to an Scandinavian country but I'm not sure about how touristic they are

plenty of moronic foreigners come to shit up famous spots in norway. for example there is a debate in Lofoten about taxing/barring tourists as tourism is beginning to piss off the locals. though i wouldn't recommend moving to norway. it's dark for 8/12 months of the year and the populace is borderline autistic. on top of this theres absolutely frick all to do - even in Oslo.
i'd only recommend VISITING norway if:
you want to go on a couple weeks bender and frick 10/10 white pussy
do some hiking/check out the instagram meme'd destinations
tour the picturesque towns (Oslo isn't one of them)
and i'd only recommend MOVING here if:
you want to raise a family. Norway is quite safe and a high trust society (barring a few small areas in oslo and more broadly to the east of it)
    are a massive nature gay
are a hermit and don't want to have any sense of social life

all of this is without mentioning that you will NEVER be seen as Norwegian and will be a permanent outsider, even if you speak the language. I know many people who came here when they were young/born to immigrant parents and say the same thing. Norway is kinda like japan in this sense.

imo move to a small less known italian town/city instead

I mean by the sounds of it seems ideal, like I want a simple quiet life and I'm kind of a loner in various ways, but I guess it would be hard finding a girlfriend there, I'm average looking with black hair and dark brown eyes and also I'm very pale

Even though I'm 6ft I would be mogged by every dude there lmao

We get pretty chilly winters in Madrid also like 5-10 deg C so I'm used to the cold

Look at this chart from Wikipedia very carefully. Also note the amount of sunlight hours in winter.

trondheim is even worse than oslo in terms of temp and darkness as its further north. did you do 0 research before deciding to come and shit up trv with dumbass assumptions and questions? if you think winters in madrid would be in any way comparable to winters ANYWHERE in norway, you're genuinely moronic

I lived and worked in Norway for a couple of years. This anon is pretty much spot on. You’ll never be accepted but you can make friends. Summer is glorious and SighSee opportunities are unparalleled. Winter is long dark miserable and cold. Taxes are meme level which does make raising a family here good.

      >Lofoten tourist ban
I first went to Lofoten in the noughties. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful. Went back last year. Absolutely packed to the gills with motor homes and people taking selfies in downright dangerous places. Reinebringen has steps up to it now so what was a challenging hike is now jammed with boomers. I don’t live there and I was fricked off with tourists (yes I know I’m a Real Traveller)

So it's possible to make a living by working at hotels there?

There are hotels but the tourist season is short so you’ll need to do something else in the winter as they’ll have few shifts for you. Did meet a Scottish guy who was working in a branch of Rema supermarket.

Isn't that the case with any country that wasn't built on immigration?

How come when the Japs do this everybody thinks it’s cool and honorable, but when we Norwegians do it, some American who talks loudly and apologizes for Trump everywhere he goes throws a b***hfit because he is not considered one of us?

implying i'd ever WANT to be norwegian let alone jap lmao. after living here, i've realised norway is only a slightly better sweden (less Black folk) but with shittier industry. you guys are just as autistic and passive. a majority of your women are only good for pumping out kids with good genetics, not much else (prostitutes). i also don't even see the men as men - you guys have very childish facial features and look like twinks, kinda funny tbh. to be part of such an overly socialised and autistic society - i'd rather kms. so you can keep your depressing, boring ass and cucked country/populace to yourself, Øystein
