How's our international reputation these days?

How's our international reputation these days? Indonesia and most of SEA's fricked but I'm curious about everywhere else.

I think it's just a cultural thing that people either love us or hate us.

Certain people certainly lost all respect for what you let your government do to you guys between 2020 and 2022.
Just to warn you in case you meet some uppity burger or bongs and want to return some banter.

We've always had a massive nanny state. You just weren't aware of it until recently. We have a constitution but that same constitution says our rights can be taken away by the government at any time for any reason.

        >You just weren't aware of it until recently.
Just wanted to point it out because the AUS/NZ reactions to the coof were really shocking to people in Europe, so you should be prepared to hear about them in case the topic comes up, especially since we don't really distinguish between Aussies/Kiwis and are generally ignorant about you guys.

Personally I don't mind people shitting on us for how our government handled the coof. I'm just slightly embarrassed that a good chunk of the world is now aware that our government can bend us over and frick us.

And? At the height of covid we were able to walk around and live totally normal lives with no transmission. it was only after pressure to let c**ts into the country that we had issues and it became a bit of a sideshow. Had she stuck to keeping the drawbridge up we could have continued on out merry way. Other than not being able to travel (which was a big disappointment for me ending my 20's not being able to) my life was not really impacted at all by covid. I know no one who got sicker than having the flu, my job didnt change, I still travelled extensively within my country and that was cool not having millions of Chinese ruining it etc.

Im certainly no fan of Jacinda, but I have no issues with her choices over covid and dont give a frick if you euros have lost respect over 'muh nanny state, muh freedoms'.

What those idiots don't realise is that the camps were just for Indians and Chinese who kept wanting to go between countries and were bringing back strains into the community from their shitholes. No Aussies actually went there if they didn't travel overseas.

And besides that, those 'concentration camps' had minifridges, telly and wifi. The humanity.

The fact that there's even an argument to be had as to whether not those places could be considered concentration camps is just ridiculous. You sound just like holocaust deniers who bring up the pools and theaters.

We aren't the ones that came up with that meme moron, just like the frickwits on SighSee who actually think Australia is a Chinese colony despite Australia owning China.

No one gave a frick about some Indians in a camp outside Darwin. We were sick of them bringing Indians back to cushy hotels, them breaking quarantine and a new outbreak starting

The farther away you are from Australia the better the Australians. The Australians I met in Cambodia - cancer. The Australians I met in Central Asia and Lati America - Based.
