Slight hijack to ask about Brazil and COVID vaccination requirements. The borders were open for all of 2021, but I heard they suddenly slapped a vax requirement in place starting in January 2022. Is it still in effect? What are the rules? What do I have to show?

I know about some requirements but not all. U need to show vax certificate. I know people from argentina and they can go there without even PCR test, but idk about EU or US tourists.

I also want to go, trannies seems to be hot there

Colombian trannies are notorious for robbbery. They might not even be real trannies and just disguising themselves to rob people it’s kind of weird. That happens less with regular putas but lots of scams there too fake pics.

tbh I don't think getting robbed by them is that common, the ones engaged in crime tend to be selling drugs as middlemen between a big dealer and clients who might want it. Most are gonna have weed but tbh I would avoid anyone trying to sell you drugs of any kind.
I slept with like 10 or so in 27 days in Rio, and there were a lot of hotter ones I missed out on.
If you want more casual hookups you need Portuguese, You should learn some basic Br Portuguese anyway before the trip as English proficiency is in the ground (5%).
I always say the hottest trannies are from Brazil in Colombia.

Examples on how super dangerous it is? Did your friend get robbed or see some shit go down or just exaggerating to sound hard?

Does anyone know if colombia is at least 'ok' for safety outside of bogota and medellin? Or is the whole country fricked? Im not a total sperg and it wont be my first time in the 3rd world.

No it’s not safe and especially not if you’re on the lookout for trannies. Once they smell you out you’re done for.

If you have long term business there know people know where to go and where not to go it’s fine.

In the cities the trannies are always hanging in the worst areas and they are hideous. These aren’t Thai ladyboys here with lithe Asian bodies. You’ve basically got short men in skirts. If that’s your thing and you wanna lose your phone and wallet while you’re at it have a blast.

It might be safe for us spics, not safe for you. See, "safety" is a coin toss, you'll be fine and "not fine" too.
Depends on how much money you have, or how annoying you are. If you behave with the men and women, you will be fine. At the same time, you can't show meekness because you'll end up being taken advantage. If you show you have money you'll attract undesirables. If you end up in a fricked up bar, people will know that you have more money (no matter how real this idea is) and you'll end up in a uncomfortable situation.
You can get out of most situations with some talk, so if you're a people person you'll be good.
Brazil is another can of worms, you'll need a local with you at all times, otherwise you'll get robbes, shanked, rape and worst

personally had an easy time matching girls on tinder

I am white and my family lived in rio and sp for a few years. I walked around solo at 13 during carnival and many other times. The shit with Brazil is generally overblown...dont be a dumbass like anywhere else and you're probs good. Generally as safe as much of latam if you arent a super dumbass.

We had bodyguards escort us to school in Columbia and it felt sketchier than anywhere in Brazil. Enjoy the asses and the nude beaches there are like no others...

mostly agree in Brazil you just need some general street smarts to avoid dangerous situations.

I have wanted to go to Brazil for years. I like nightlife, also scorts and sex oc. A friend told me Colombia was super dangerous (he went there for 2 weeks) so I have two questions:

      - It is too dangerous to walk in sao paulo looking for fun?

      - With inflation, will everything be extra expensive?

I was in Rio which is a lot more dangerous than SP but had no issues not even a close call , don't go into favelas and if a place looks a little sketchy probably just leave. I stayed in centro which is not even the touristy part of Rio so whatever danger you are thinking of is probably overblown.

Get yourself a travel backpack that can't be cut or has hidden zippers, and don't wear flashy clothes or israeliteelry these are some basic precautions I would take. As for your phone just don't walk around with it loosely in your hands. If you see locals with their phones out you are probably good to do the same but just be careful (I bought a cheap phone and got a local sim just to avoid any issues if it got stolen)

Some regions are ok, some you must be more alert and avoid go at night (e.g. downtown) and some regions you should really avoid, being the only no-go place in Cracolândia. The comfiest region to stay in São Paulo starts below Liberdade and above Jabaquara subway stations.

Of course but don't do it too far in advanced, they will lose interest if you are a month out from coming, If you were to go on interpals on the other hand most of them are cool with being penpals for a while then meeting you when you visit the country.
I'd suggest a week or 2 in advance at the most. You are going to get vastly more matched when you are actually in the country.

I am fairly knowledge on Brazil for a gringo.

Yes, Brazilian women are the hottest women in the world, and yes they love Americans. Yes, Tinder is popping in Brazil.

Brazil is more dangerous than the United States, but less dangerous than Colombia and Mexico. Rio is by far Brazil's most dangerous city and most the crime is petty theft, usually brown favela dwellers agressively stealing phones in broad daylight. Rio at night is not safe and walking on the street should be avoid at night unless it is only a short distance walk.

Outside of Rio and SP and Salvador, Brazil is pretty safe. Small towns are safe. Kidnapping is not common in Brazil like it is in Colombia and Mexico. Most the issues are petty theft.

The US dollar is stronger in Brazil because Brazil is experiencing inflation stronger than the US is. Brazillian Real was trading at 4 to 1 last year now it is 5 to 1 which means the American dollar has gotten stronger.

The best Latin American countries Brazil > Argentina > Panama > Cuba > Chile > Colombia > Costa Rica > Peru > Puerto Rico > Mexico.

Brazil is the place to be if you want decent safety, beaches, ass, sex, and beer.

mexico being last on your list is absolutely moronic. I lived in mexico city for a year, travelling to small towns, cities. not once did I feel unsafe. mexico also by far has the most culture out of any latin american country, the best food, and the best amenities.

      Why do you
      Rank Costa Rica so
Low? and Puerto Rico is worse than Mexico

        Anonymous

Costa Rica is not ranked so low. Notice I didn't put I left out a significant amount of countries for example Nicaragua or Bolivia.

Costa Rica is a nice place but I feel it is to small to rank as number one, while Panama is very similar to Costa Rica except has the Panama canal and Panama City is a modern wealthy city.

mexico being last on your list is absolutely moronic. I lived in mexico city for a year, travelling to small towns, cities. not once did I feel unsafe. mexico also by far has the most culture out of any latin american country, the best food, and the best amenities.

What about Tijuana, or all the nasty border cities? Mexico is not bad. I like Mexico but they have a serious crime problem and I can't recommend Mexico as a whole until they fix this crime problem. Mexico City is a nice city, but a lot of places are no-gos and that's why it's dangerous.

The border cities are all dirty shitholes without the culture and history found elsewhere in the country. Mexico only gets better the further south you go.

LATAM has less of the party beach culture that I think contributes to Thailand's reputation, but there's tons of prostitution though it's mostly between locals not tourists, it's legal in most of those countries and considered socially acceptable for men.

Well, what constitutes "middle-to-upper-class" is different, though, depending on where you go. I ate with my gf in a VERY nice restaurant in Queretaro and it was like $90 for a three course meal, several drinks each, and tableside dessert, tip included. Just the drinks would have cost that here in an upscale bar.

The problem of São Paulo is that sometime you will be mugged. I'm 30 and haven't been robbed. But my father, sister, mother, lots of friends have. Friends that havent been robbed know at least one person (relative or friend) that has also been robbed. And São Paulo is one of the safest state capitals in Brazil.
That said, I've walked alone at 2 am countless times and nothing ever happened to me. I do know what I am doing though. You kinda learn how to be street wise by osmosis.
If you are in the rich neighborhoods at daylight, the odds of anything happening are really low. You shouldnt wear watches and israeliteelry though. And its better to go inside a store to take a look at your phone screen since you are a clueless foreigner.
As for hookers, just go to nice brothels. You will pay 2-300 usd for a girlfriend experience for the whole night with a gorgeous girl in a place like Cafe Photo, Scandallo or Bomboa. Or go to a place like Casarão (awkward and too crowded but can be nice) and pay 50-60 usd for 1 hour with some girl. But uber to brothels or regular nightclubs.
Prices are ok for western foreigners. A good (nice place good food) meal will cost you 50 usd. More in the upscale restaurants and less in the ordinary places that office workers go to have lunch (about 10 usd). A 300-350ml heineken will cost 1 dollar at the market, 2 usd in a regular bar, 5 in a nightclub or expensive bar and up to 10 usd in a brothel.
The best place to stay is south of Paulista Avenue but near to it. There are subway stations, museums and its close to everything in town. Location wise, best hotel is Renaissance.
Tinder is fine as long you have good pics. Bonus points for being foreigner and lots of extra points if you are tall and blonde. Most girls wont speak decent english though. Bumble is a better bet since has more college educated girls and less poor people. But nowadays most girls only use instagram.

      You're clueless.

        Anonymous

So in those brothels, if you go for the 200-300 dollar girlfriend experience, do you stay at the brothel all night? Or how does it work?

          Anonymous

You go to the prostitute flat, to a hotel or to a motel (love hotel). You coul rent a room in some of these brothels but you have to see if its worth it. Never did that for more than 2 hours.

its really not dangerous as in your personal safety is ever in jeopardy. even charging into the favelas is mostly a risk-free endeavor, you really have to seek out the shitholes where a tourist is going to face bodily harm.

you will get targeted for petty crime though. but when this happened to my gf (I was swimming, they were waiting for her to be alone) on ipanema beach with a theif trying to snatch our bag the other brazilians on the beach intervened. it was actually a bit of heartwarming moment. the vast majority (like ninety-nine percent) want to shed this shitty reputation.

It's good money for sure but keep in mind that the internet speed here is terrible so you will have a hard time satisfying your clients on chaturbate and livejasmine. I have a trans friend who choose to upload videos on ashemaletube because of this, they don't pay as well but maybe you could try it if your streams are too laggy when you arrive here. Best of luck

Jesus, what's your job? That's outrageous for two part-time gigs.

How do you make a quarter million dollars in tech without being a programmer?

How well could I, an American, live in Brazil on 7,700 brl per month?
Could I afford an 18 year old big bunda gf? Maybe more than one?
Could I afford to live in a safe place?

You could live in any nice city on that amount, you could definitely afford a gf as well.
Depends on if you want to live in a big city or not, if you are working remotely I would suggest one of the larger cities.

      >Brazil is another can of worms, you'll need a local with you at all times, otherwise you'll get robbes, shanked, rape and worst
lol not really true at all unless you are in a favela.

I was in belo horizonte last year. Quiet a few people spoke english, the women were hot, men were bros. November I'll go to curitiba and visit a friend. After that I've got the first two weeks of december alone in a location of my choice in brazil. I want beaches, girls, and a place where I can train. I looked into salvador but it seemed like noone speaks english. My portuguese is utter shit sadly. So yeah anyone got any suggestions?

Anyone know if you need to do a health screening to visit still? Planned on visiting Brazil in like jan or feb probably. I think I only need a passport. Thinking of just going to Sao Paulo and then visiting areas around it. Been hearing bad stuff about rio tbh

I'm Colombian. My advice to avoid being a victim is don't wear cargo pants. No one here wears that. Just wear some jeans, a polo/shirt and you're good. You might even pass as a local of you don't open your mouth

most people going to Brazil are looking for brownoids and black girls not whites.

You're clueless. It is illegal to hire a hooker in Sweden.

Tell me you've never traveled without telling me you've never traveled. Something being illegal has nothing to do with whether or not people do it.

Places where hookers are illegal or hard to find usually have the worst hookers.
I've heard it's actually illegal for a Swede to solicit hookers anywhere, like you can technically get arrested on return from Thailand.

Kek. If my country ever reaches that level of gayginess I'm going to flee as a reverse refugee to a 3rd world country.

This is a personal problem. A hooker's reception towards you is completely your own doing. Location only determines cost.

Brazil has some beautiful girls but most scorts are butt ugly and never white.

Not in São Paulo and upscale places. Foreigners find lots of black and mixed because thats what they look for. But there are lots of white fair headed and blue eyed escorts. No nordics as we haven't had lots of immigrants of those countries. But lots of girls of german, polish and italian descent.

Are there prostitutes that are as easily accessible as something like HK or thai gogo bars? I'm really turned off by having to go to some sketchy street, knock 4 times on the 3rd door, go up the 3rd set of stairs to the left, etc. etc. All that shit.
I mean in TJ, the prostitutehouses literally pick you up at the border. Anything like that in Brazil?

Most of latin america is incredibly lax towards prostitutes which means you'll find prostitutehouses that operate as legit (though shady) businesses along with escorts that advertise openly.

yeah but which ones specifically, I'm trying to do some research and planning over here anon, I'd very much appreciate some info

Honestly, all of them. I haven't heard of a latin american country that doesn't have a semi-normalized sex industry except maybe Venezuela and Cuba but those places have tons of desperate women (and men). The cultural attitudes are just completely different, its not necessarily seen as a bad thing for a man to go to a prostitute... even if he's married, maybe his wife isn't putting out, whatever. In the US its scandalous if a politician cheats on his wife with hookers/mistresses, in latin america its normal. The only downside is how a lot of those countries are unsafe especially in places where prostitutes tend to be.

thanks for the answer but I mean which places (clubs, brothels, whatever) specifically in Brazil, not which country

I had quite different experiences in SP vs RJ. Rio was poorer on the whole but everyone more or less lived in the same level of relative poverty.
Whereas Sao Paulo was a mixture of highly developed areas juxtaposed with the fricking zombie apocalypse, like dozens of mattresses on the street with mentally ill druggies wandering around.

Salvador is more like NOLA but yeah Rio and Salvador are similar. Salvador is a black city and Rio is a mulatto city.
Carnival is huge is both cities.
