taxes and the laws.
nice to visit to live nah.
If you want to know whether a city is a shithole or not, look at the condition of the subway trains. /thread
*isn't
my cousin lives there and is afraid to leave her apartment because of the crazed homeless
It's fricking awesome here, literally always cool things to do
Your cousins a prissy b***h
where does she live? only neighborhood i've been to that was unlivable due to homeless was the south bronx
>is afraid to leave her apartment
new york is one of the safest big cities also tell her to stop living with Black folk
>filthy
it’s clean for a big city with 8 million population
>rats
meme
>murder rates
doesn’t that happen everywhere in america? What’s your excuse it’s safe stop being gay
>globohomo
literally everywhere in murica
>rent prices are high
it’s not you can find apartments for 1k also high wages make up for it
>shithole
you are a poor homosexual cope
>it’s not you can find apartments for 1k also high wages make up for it
*rooms, not apartments. big difference. plus the cheapest rooms are still around $700 a month, which in some cities you can get a full studio for that price
if you're working class in NYC you don't make much more than you would in cities like Chicago, Phoenix, or Tampa, all of which are much cheaper to live in.
Sounds like she's a poor homosexual and can't afford to live in nice areas
New York is the most based city in america
>PVP area
>All the buildings are climbable
>Free stuff everywhere
Rewatching Sam Raimi's Spiderman trilogy reaffirms my belief that New York is the worst cesspool of a city ever built in the history of mankind.
It's great for a visit.
If you decide to live there, you better get a high paying job. Otherwise you'd have to live in a tiny rat hole and commute for ages.
Dirty, overpriced, crime rates skyrocketing, minorities that lack proper parenting and thus are rude and ruin your time in the city
t. born and raised new yorker
>Dirty
No
>overpriced
High salaries make up for it
>crime rates skyrocketing
Still low
>minorities that lack proper parenting
Not their fault for having a shit upbringing
Try again
>Not their fault for having a shit upbringing
I know this is bait, but I love how the hip, progressive thing now is to assign minorities zero agency.
Filthy, overcrowded rat infested shithole that only appeals to moronic libshits, dumb tourists begging to get scammed.
Murder rates going way up, basketball Americans punching and stabbing random people for no reason at all. One of the biggest exporters of globohomosexual "culture" in the entire country, basically a modern day Sodom, and on top of that rent prices are moronic high for what amounts to a walk in closet.
Only low-t and low IQ numales and shitlib redditors would even think of praising that giant shithole of a city. If given the chance to move to either NYC or Mumbai, I'd take Mumbai without a second thought, that's how shitty israelite york city is.
Anyone who tells you otherwise is coping or a literal aids ridden homosexual who thinks pozzed Broadway shows and muh pizza and bagels make that shithole a city worth living in.
>It's fricking awesome here, literally always cool things to do
violent basketball Americans
expensive
piss smell
traffic
rudest people on the planet next to Germans
>rudest people on the planet next to Germans
germans are rude?
Brazil tier city.
Honestly the trash bags on every street is pretty gross but other than that its a great city. Much rather live there than like Breaux Bridge, LA, Conway, SC or bumbfrick OK.
who knows
try going to new york. cigarette smoke smell and trash on the street. comfy if you've been there when you were younger but if you go as an adult without knowing what its like to be from "noo yowk" you'll be in for a culture shock. lots of crackheads too, not a myth or a joke. last time i went there was a guy making the police chase him around the port authority lmao
I went there on a whim in March for the first time and loved it. Great food and the people where much nicer than they are given credit for. Cool dude in the subway even smoked me up on a blunt.
Found some cheap flights to NY from Europe but god damn the hotel prices are expensive. Looking at at least 200€+ per night in September even for the cheap looking places. Is that normal? Don't want a shared room in a hostel but a single room with bed and bathroom.
Seems expensive. We stayed in Times Square last Thanksgiving and it was like $180 a night average but most nights were $130. It wasn't until after Thanksgiving did prices jump up.
I lived there for 3 years. it has alot to offer and some of the best walkability in the United states, but it truly can be an exhausting place to live. Huge crowds everywhere, terrible weather, expensive housing, agressive obnoxious liberals, rampant alcoholism etc. I have some good friends there that are begging me to come back but i just cant...
>expensive housing
aren't the salaries designed to compensate for that ?
you've never been to new york city. go to east brooklyn. walk around for a day. see if that doesn't change your mind.
Follow the NYPD twitter and see all the crime that happens every second
The subway is the worst part of the city. The entire thing dirty, grimy, trashy, in disrepair, smells like piss and has homeless people. If you were to only drive around NYC the city would go up a few points.
they have mutant animals lurking in their sewer system..
