I travelled the world and just ended up in Ireland because it felt most like /home/, my grandad went to college here and I got the passport through him and all.

Ask me anything about living in Eireann.

Careful now, housing will basically make it just as expensive if you're not copped on

Pretty good education here just make sure they don't go to Dublin they'll turn out complete pricks

Housing included it's still significantly cheaper than going to live at a states school. I don't expect them to live at home and commute unless they're dumb which I don't think they will be

If someone hates hot weather, say anything over 25 C/77 F, would Ireland be their paradise?

Can anyone here Galway pill me? seems comfy and you can get property in the county then go into the city for stuff to do

      That's where I live lol

A lot of people do that but there's awful traffic in Galway

But long term that's what I want to do, have a house in the countryside then commute to work

Galway is farmers, hipster musicians and vegans, and biomed workers in the factories

Normies are a very very small part of society, even your dentist does coke kinda thing (true story I heard)

Small, picturesque but lively city. (University city).
Frequently rains, weather is bad by Irish standards.
Bad traffic but very walkable due to size.
Like the other anon said, people are very trendy, it's hipster central. So if these people make you seethe, it might be best not to move here.
I personally despise the modern Galway male archetype - earring in one or both ears, smokes rollie cigs, more than likely smokes dope, loves craft beer, are overtly well spoken for their social status, will typically be found in packs of 5 or 6, has as many female friends as male friends & is more often than not seen with a disposable coffee cup in one hand & a smartphone in the other all the while claiming to be doing what's best for the planet.

I pick up trash I find on the ground and used to drive reused vegetable oil engine cards and fucking hate vegans though, hypocrites and retards

Haha, some of ye are alright but when every second lad from Galway looks, acts & talks the same, the whole thing seems to be a bit put on.
Now West Galway county lads are a different breed and the real deal. I knew a lad from Clifden once who was the craziest yet soundest skin ever.

          Corcaigh. An fíorchaipiteal 😉

Isn't housing in Ireland getting too expensive? I just know some irish guy living in thailand complaining about it constantly. Been there and prices are almost swiss levels.
