So wrong. When Vegas legalized weed, every fucking Black in the US started vacationing there/ 5 years ago on any given night, the strip was maybe 5 percent black. Now, it's easily 40-50 percent black. Downtown vegas on Fremont Street actually put a brilliant strategy in place to try and keep it more white where they booked heavy metal, hard rock and country bands to play live outdoor shows on the weekends at night. Some of the hotels that were once a great deal like the RIo and now a complete dump. The blacks infested the place and normal people avoid it like the plague now.
With that said, I still go once a year to Vegas, but we stay off the strip these days. We hike in Red Rock or near the Hoover Dam. We eat in Chinatown. We might go see a band play. But we don't hang out on the strip any more.
This. Legal weed killed the vegas vibe. HOLY SHIT every black/mexican/underage stoner flooded in and it's fucking shit
>I still go once a year to Vegas, but we stay off the strip these days.
Yeah it went from a 3-4 year thing from me for me. I did like the small weekends for cheap 75 dollar spirit flights and cheap hotels.
My girlfriend and I started going to South Lake Tahoe instead. It's twice as far for us to drive to Tahoe, but it's better in pretty much every way especially since we don't even go to the casinos. The weather is fucking amazing for outdoor stuff when it's warm in the summer and fall and the they have some of the best ski resorts in the US. There are enough small motels and Airbnbs that you can still get a decent room for around $100/night. We usually splurge for nice Airbnb in Tahoe. The cabins are always fucking awesome. The Hangar in Tahoe is probably my favorite bar in the world. You sit outside around a fire under giant redwood trees. They always have a food truck parked out front. It's always such a good crowd and a good vibe. If you've never done Lake Tahoe, I highly recommend it.
The three areas where vegas is definitely better are the food, the casino pools and the live music scene. That's why we keep going once a year even though it's gone down the toilet.
>Downtown vegas on Fremont Street actually put a brilliant strategy in place to try and keep it more white where they booked heavy metal, hard rock and country bands to play live outdoor shows on the weekends at night.
It's amazing all the contortions we bend ourselves into, just trying to stay away from black people. Suburbs, homeowner's associations, Nixon's war on drugs. It's like the Dutch frantically building sea walls and wind mills to keep away the ever-rising tide. I'm in awe
Why can't we just send them away and live like normal people?
Who's "we"? Minorities are a profitable venture for the free market. If big business didn't like Black folks and hispanics they wouldn't exist in the United States. I swear, if there was no money to be made off impressionable blacks they'd just put some black killer superbug into the water and be done with it

Plenty of non magic or comedy shows. Every casino has their own cirque du solei for example. Could see something like the Bat Out of Hell musical (Jukebox meatloaf musical).

I went to Meow Wolf. I'll fully admit that I'm not the target demographic and I don't do drugs anymore, but it was interesting. We spent about 3.5 hours in there wondering around. I guess there is some story lone and cards youre supposed to ask for that we didn't know about until about 90 minutes in. We also went to the barcade in Area 15 (insert soijak here) and it was enjoyable.
We also went to Superfrico in Cosmopolitan that night, they have a a ski lodge type speakeasy in there, but a fair warning, drinks are $20+ each.
The food and "experience" at Superfrico was cool, but I was sauced by then so anything was entertaining. Might be worth it if you want dinner and a show.
The neon museum is neat too, but it's basically a big lot with signs from casinos past if you want to get into some Vegas history.

Meow Wolf/Omega Mart is legit cool. I went there on a combo of shrooms and ketamine and only vomited once. It was funny because after I made it to the bathroom and vomited some wagie in lab gear went in there to clean it up lol. They also have employees that walk around just to chat and goof off with you. Only downside is the amount of children there. Otherwise it's some of the best value for your money in Las Vegas.
That being said, much of what other anons say here is true. Las Vegas is not what it used to be. Number of Blacks has increased exponentially, and it is more expensive. First time I went to Vegas in 2014, even with resort fees, I paid like 50-70 bucks per night to stay at Luxor with 2 queen beds. Split between some friends it wasn't bad.
Now they just israelite the fuck out of you. It used to be that no matter where you went on the strip, if you sat down to play vidya poker you got free drinks. Now you can't do that. The vidya poker machines have little lights on them that only light up when you play fast enough. If you don't play fast enough (spend money fast enough) you don't get free drinks. It's a ripoff.
Luckily there are still good casinos that don't israelite you, but they're on Fremont. There's absolutely no point to gamble on the strip. The hotels on the strip are nicer for hotel things, but the gambling is worse. Huge issue I've heard is that a lot of casino/hotels completely did away with room service during/after covid. So one of the best things about Vegas no longer exists unless you're at a high roller hotel paying out the ass.
If you're gonna go to Vegas, stay at Circa or somewhere on Fremont and frequent those casinos. Check out Frankie's Tiki Room, go to Red Rock Canyon, eat some good food. But have your wits about you, Vegas isn't the playground that it used to be

Check out the sip n’ tip down by Fremont street. Entrance is an unmarked door down a back alley so it’s not normally too busy even when Fremont street is full
Rachel NV is kind of a tourist trap last i've been there. However, the landscape makes up for it imo. A few drinks out in the middle of nowhere Nevada and you're set.
True, unfortunately /misc/ wasn’t killed in the cradle and the entire site has been infected by them. The influence is obvious to anyone that actually travels to the areas the nazi fags shit on.
I'm sorry SighSee made fun of your shithole country anon
It's not even remotely true either. /misc/ was created BECAUSE SighSee people were like that already, before that we had political discussion on the old news board and other places. It wasn't /misc/ that made us all chuds, we were already this way.
It did thanks to cheap round flight tickets from their rats nests.
Don't believe anything you read on SighSee if it has the slightest racist or /misc/ smell to it. Vegas is the same as it ever was, just more expensive now.
It did. Vegas became semi-respectable in the 2010 to 2018 area. Which is when I flew tours for Maverick. It was on the down turn after 2018 from my understanding (though I was long gone), but the pandemic accelerated it. Now it's back to its garbage 1990s stage. Pic not at Mav.
Vegas is based. Easy to get a flight and a room. World class food with incredible variety. S-tier people watching. Tons of gorgeous women. Nice pools. Golf. Gambling. Drugs and cooming if you're a degenerate into that shit. Museums. Floral gardens. Aquariums. It has everything except outdoor activities, but red rocks are nearby and an easy drive
I'm planning a trip in the summer (mid-June)
Any advice on hotels? Considering Park MGM
Also, anything I should definitely check out?
Will be with my 65yo father so probably nothing above PG-13 or too athletic but open to any suggestions
Definitely rent a car. You won't really be able to walk the strip or go downtown unless he can walk at least 3 miles. Just parking downtown and walking to Fremont street is at least a mile each way if you pay it park in a casino. That doesn't include anything you want to walk and see.
I always stay at Planet Hollywood, but you shouldn't. The parking garage is the furthest from the rooms of any hotel in Vegas, over a mile each way.
Based on the prices for mid June and ignoring the absolute dumps like excalibur and circus circus, I'd recommend the Paris orNew York New York on the strip. Palms Place is one street off the strip and always good. Vdara if you want to spend a little more and stay somewhere really nice. There are cheaper options than the ones I listed, but a lot of old and gross.
As I always say, the best food is off the strip. Eat in Chinatown. Hachi is the best jap food in town. Ichiza is amazing. Viet Noodle House is amazing. Ramen Sora is insanely good. The best cheap meal in town is In and Out burger.
I used to love Vegas. I even got married there. I think I'm done with it until they cut down the israeliteery. I was $200 in the hole from just checking in to my hotel. Resort fees and early check in fee. Then another $250 on top to reserve a table in the sports book for Championship weekend.
The blacks smoking weed every 5 feet and trying to sell you their mix tapes are annoying as fuck. I haven't owned a cd player in almost a decade. Fuck off.
The heroin zombies and homeless are just as plentiful and just as bad.
The gambling sucks ass too, unless you want to play $50 table minimums they stick it to you. 6:5 blackjack, triple zero roulette, computerized "table" games. Literally the only thing Vegas does better than my local casinos is poker.
Booze is astronomical. I paid $23 for a shot of fireball at the Wynn. Granted, I was drunk and didn't notice the bar I was playing video poker at didn't provide free drinks. Still gay though, I can get a bottle of that wretched swill for $18. Also, cocktail waitresses are fewer and farer between every time you go. It's almost impossible to get your "free" drink.
Uber/Lyft has become outrageous. I paid $20+ for a ride from TI to PH because my drunk wife didn't want to walk.
I know I already bitched about gambling, but they've yanked a majority of the reel style slots out and replaced them with those high volatility hold and spin progressive machines. I hate those. I didn't see one jackpot handpay being paid out all weekend long.
Every year MGM and Caesars whittle away at what's left of the soul of the strip. I swear to God, we're less than a decade away from cards and human dealers being removed from gambling altogether.
And I know Vegas is designed to separate you from your money. I go there planning on giving it to them. But my last trip I feel like they were stealing from me. I'm no high roller by any means, but I budget about $1,000 a day for gambling when I go to the casino.
>until they cut down the israeliteery >until
Not gonna happen pal >Uber/Lyft has become outrageous. I paid $20+ for a ride from TI to PH because my drunk wife didn't want to walk.
Was it during peak hours?
Not sure you can even call the hold and spin slots high volitility. If you bet minimum amounts, you're simply never going to win the big jackpots and I suspect they set the odds to win those to the lowest allowed by Vegas regulations, the jackpot amounts won't get close to reflecting the odds to getting it. You only see the big jackpots won when doing $5 spins which naturally massively lowers their X win multiplier. Largest win I got all holiday was 80x. If I play slots for a couple of hours in the UK, I would almost certainly get a bigger win than that.
I bought lots of money to spend, ready to spend lots but that doesn't mean I want to get ripped off. I spent a lot less in hotels than I may have because I bought drinks from a supermarket rather than spend $8 a time just on soft drinks and generally avoided spending money on things in hotel in favour of cheaper external options.
Almost all hotels now being one of two companies has just destroyed a lot of the character and going from a place that's designed to lull you into spending more money by throwing subsidised deals at you to somewhere that just flat out rips you off leaves a bitter taste. I suppose the only desire I have to go back to Vegas now is to maybe see if I was "doing it wrong" or if the strip starts making an effort into drawing people to visit it rather than cashing in on what it was like 15+ years ago.
I deleted my last post because my autocorrect absolutely butchered it.
We had friends drive in from Southern California and they stopped at a liquor store, so that saved us a little bit of money. I also picked up a bottle at the liquor store by the baggage claim in the airport (to which I was hit with a tip prompt).
We stayed at Planet Hollywood and even though Caesars has completely ruined the casino inside, the bartender at the entrance bar were cool and didn't have sticks up their asses about drinks while playing video poker.
The only places we had prompt drink service with multiple drinks from the floor was PH and Paris. Venetian had good bartenders too. When I go to Vegas I want to drink, and I can hold it together drinking all day long. But it's harder and harder every time I go to do it cheaply. I often found myself buying mini bottles from casino convenience stores and bypassing the cocktail service altogether.
As far as your slot comments, I won't even play the Buffalo/lightning link/Asian gambler games. When I play slots I want either $5 or $10 two credit Double Diamond, Top Dollar or Wild Cherry, or 3 Credit Triple Double Stars or Pinball. I'm not a high roller by any means but these are basic slots that I shouldn't have to actively hunt and seek for a mid tier player.
I was just so disappointed at the slot variety. 80% of slots were variations of those three types. Was hoping to see lots of the slots I'd seen casino streamers play on with interesting features and silly gimmicks but couldn't find any of them, only a fixed selection of slots that there the same in every casino.
Plan on going for my birthday and want a cheep but still bigger room for my stay of 5 nights. Also I am a semi trucker and would like to have parking and it be safe parking. So I looked around and came up with the RIO and got a super suite for 1,130. I like how I'll be able to see the strip length wise or the mountains. And I'm just wondering if there isn't a better place to stay (truck parking not needed so long as I can find a safe place to park). Am 28 /male(will be 29) and my bro may come along. (Also yes Iv seen bad reviews about the rooms but so long as it's not like motel grade I'll be fine) be honest first time on this end of SighSee
The Rio is a fucking shit hole lmao. Just stay at the jockey club or something. I'd rather stay at planet Hollywood then Rio. Rio is for white trash and naggers. You're going to die there most likely
Well thanks for trying but the dates I'm going don't apply and even then that place is over budget for me. Like I'm going to vages I don't wanna spend all my $$$ on the hotel room when there perfectly good slots and tables
As a resident of Las Vegas for over a decade, it is really only tourists who love this place. And while that is perfect for SighSee, please do not stay here for more than a typical vacation. The horrible state of this place will become more evident the longer you stay. I only stay because of the cheap housing situation I have. Please don't ask me for good places to go. I do not drink or gamble, and like a typical resident, I don't go to the strip or downtown unless I have to. I hate it here more than you can imagine. This place is a shithole with just enough enough glitz and glamor for tourists to eat it up.
I've been going to Vegas 4-7 times a years since 2013. Not much has changed really. There was a brief spike in "undesirables" after COVID due to people spending their stim checks but now it's pretty much back to normal.
The key IMO is spending the money to stay in a higher end resort to avoid the dumber, poorer fucktards, and taxiing everywhere possible to avoid the mad crushes of slow walking tourists. That and be ready to spend money in general, You can buy your way out of inconvenience and awkward situations in Vegas and it's well worth it.
Kek. Are you me? I had a pretty active social life up until five years ago, but now all I do is go to the gym and work. I go to SEA for my fun, and now even that has been five years ago.
It's a dry heat, plus you can do stuff in the mornings and evenings while going inside the casinos and buffets and other indoor places where there's AC in the middle of the day
anyone that LOVES vegas is a shithead, basically your average chicago asshole would feel like they're in heaven when it's actually the butthole rim of hell on earth
The prostitutes have very nice asses. That sort of fat bottom that's hard to see unless a girl is basically wearing a thong and nothing else.
t. Incel who would rather not pay money to lose my virginity
Same OP. Between Trader Sam's and Frankie's Tiki Room they've got some of the best in the country if you're into that. Also thirding Omegamart, it's fun both with and without drugs.
I'm going there for the first time this August. What do I do? The only things I wanna do so farother than the event I'm going to is get meals with hot women in the mid to late 20s and win in poker.
im visiting vegas with a group of friends for the first time in september, anyone got tips/advice/ideas for fun shit to do?
i wanna visit some record shops for real old dusty forgotten records, are there any record or antique stores nearby with just musky stacks to the ceiling?
Art district has a few good antique stores. There’s also a couple large ones to the south of town but they’re a little less bohemian and you’d need a car to get there.
Someone tell me how the fuck a Spirit flight from DC to Vegas costs $500 a pop? How the fuck is that even possible? That shit has been under $200 for my entire life.
For $500 I can fly to any country in South America, and it won’t be on fucking Spirit.
Every single ticket is at least 350. Even southwest has $400 tickets. And this is for early June, not last minute.
Are you booking like last minute or some shit?
Frontier is 250 round trip
I just search Frontier for a June flight: $559 round trip.
Fly from baltimore
I fly out of DCA, IAD, and BWI all the time. I checked all and invariably the total cost of tickets from all for spirit, Frontier, southwest, delta, United is $430+
Fellas is a two and a half month lead time REALLY last minute these days?
I am trans btw if that matters
I'd heard that LV got real dark after the plandemic, but I've been here for a week and... not that many naggers. Very lively with conventions and tourists though. Not as many hot girls as before but I'm sure they'll come back.

thanks for telling me, a heavy /misc/ user
MUH BOOGEYMAN
Newhomosexual. /misc/ IS SighSee.
/misc/ is the most hated subgroup on this hell hole of a site, purely for how obnoxious they are
fuck off newfag, nobody is buying that shit. everyone hates that containment board more than /mlp/.
>He doesn't know the site existed before the containment boards
>He calls other people newfags
Like clockwork
True, unfortunately /misc/ wasn’t killed in the cradle and the entire site has been infected by them. The influence is obvious to anyone that actually travels to the areas the nazi fags shit on.
lol you don't know shit about anything
Love you too
I'm sorry SighSee made fun of your shithole country anon
It's not even remotely true either. /misc/ was created BECAUSE SighSee people were like that already, before that we had political discussion on the old news board and other places. It wasn't /misc/ that made us all chuds, we were already this way.
lurk more zoomers
It did thanks to cheap round flight tickets from their rats nests.
No fucking way m8. It's drastically different.
Yeah I actually got sober a few years ago and wasn't sure if I'd be able to enjoy it here, but the food alone made the whole trip worthwhile.
All of the women are giga Stacies and American so double the normal entitlement and bitchiness with masculine behaviors
At any time there are people from every country on earth visiting Vegas. You hear 20 different languages in hotel elevators
Hello
I'm planning a trip in the summer (mid-June)
Any advice on hotels? Considering Park MGM
Also, anything I should definitely check out?
Will be with my 65yo father so probably nothing above PG-13 or too athletic but open to any suggestions
>Will be with my 65yo father

Thank you so much, that is extremely helpful
Haaaaa
Should also say my budget is midrange - not crazy cheap but trying to keep hotel/car under 1.5k if possible, under 1k would be better
I keep forgetting to put info
only 3 nights
Any mathfags want to calculate the speed for a standard size vehicle to make it?
I'd say that's 10m
Without any ramp you can only drop around half a wheel height at most, say 0.4m. Gravity is 9.8m/s.
It would need to travel 10m in 0.285s. That's 35m/s, 78mph.
That would be a pretty sharp jolt and possibly even flip the car though. I'd guess 90mph minimum.
Doesn't air resistance play a factor?
Not really
It's alright too boomerish in some places now becoming too gentrified in other places.
fuck off jerma
I'm no high roller by any means, but I budget about $1,000 a day for gambling when I go to the casino.
>until they cut down the israeliteery
>until
Not gonna happen pal
>Uber/Lyft has become outrageous. I paid $20+ for a ride from TI to PH because my drunk wife didn't want to walk.
Was it during peak hours?
I would say around dusk on a Saturday, so perhaps? Definitely not worth $20 to go half a mile.
But even an uber to McCarran on the Monday we departed was $35.
>Inb4 take a flat rate cab
The cab stand was empty, had 4 people in line and I had a massive hangover and just wanted to get to the airport
Vegas is cool for a weekend. It's by a bunch of awesome places like valley of fire and the Grand Canyon which are way better than the city itself.
i love vegas too bro. You can never go wrong going to vegas. Nothing like it in the world.
Here are some promo codes for Planet Hollywood. That's where I would stay

How the fuck did you get that past the spam filter?
Well thanks for trying but the dates I'm going don't apply and even then that place is over budget for me. Like I'm going to vages I don't wanna spend all my $$$ on the hotel room when there perfectly good slots and tables
>5 nights
Really, really bad idea anon. Keep it under 72 hours or you'll be miserable
expensive boring lame stupid
bachelor's party in a month. trying to develop itinerary. some of these suggestions are typical, some interesting. any must-do/must-see?
As a resident of Las Vegas for over a decade, it is really only tourists who love this place. And while that is perfect for SighSee, please do not stay here for more than a typical vacation. The horrible state of this place will become more evident the longer you stay. I only stay because of the cheap housing situation I have. Please don't ask me for good places to go. I do not drink or gamble, and like a typical resident, I don't go to the strip or downtown unless I have to. I hate it here more than you can imagine. This place is a shithole with just enough enough glitz and glamor for tourists to eat it up.
boomp
I've been going to Vegas 4-7 times a years since 2013. Not much has changed really. There was a brief spike in "undesirables" after COVID due to people spending their stim checks but now it's pretty much back to normal.
The key IMO is spending the money to stay in a higher end resort to avoid the dumber, poorer fucktards, and taxiing everywhere possible to avoid the mad crushes of slow walking tourists. That and be ready to spend money in general, You can buy your way out of inconvenience and awkward situations in Vegas and it's well worth it.
i live here and im a shut in. what am i missing out on?
Kek. Are you me? I had a pretty active social life up until five years ago, but now all I do is go to the gym and work. I go to SEA for my fun, and now even that has been five years ago.
>$560 for 4 nights and 5 days at Vegas for August
>Believed that to be after resort fees
>$630
Goddamn. Fuck you, Vegas.
630 for 4 nights and you think that's pricy lol
same I just wish it wasn't so expensive
It's a great place to go for a weekend with a friend or two. I recommend it to anyone. I've been three times and I'm done though.
Love it too OP - fun to just splurge all out for a few days
The place is an absolute nightmare filled to the brim with boomers and nagger.
Whores are good. Becoming more and more expensive than before, but that's the same case everywhere.
I miss how things used to be.
I moved from Chicago to Vegas recently and LOVE this city! So much warmer and lots of entertainment and food options!
How the fuck can anyone take Vegas' heat at peak summer?
It's a dry heat, plus you can do stuff in the mornings and evenings while going inside the casinos and buffets and other indoor places where there's AC in the middle of the day
>muh dry heat
115 degrees is 115 degrees, shit is hot as FUCK and the UV index is so high its idiotic to not cover up all skin anytime youre outside
You don't have to spend considerable time outside in the middle of the day, in the middle of summer you know
anyone that LOVES vegas is a shithead, basically your average chicago asshole would feel like they're in heaven when it's actually the butthole rim of hell on earth
The prostitutes have very nice asses. That sort of fat bottom that's hard to see unless a girl is basically wearing a thong and nothing else.
t. Incel who would rather not pay money to lose my virginity
Going with two girl friends who love clubbing. Any places to avoid? Also any gun ranges you anons recommend?
There’s also a couple large ones to the south of town but they’re a little less bohemian and you’d need a car to get there.
>you have to be irredeemably retarded to believe anything /misc/ beli-
*SNAP*
>A-ACK!
A board so smart and so influential they have to constantly remind themselves they're always right lmao
>A board that's always right but hearing about it triggers me
We know
>reddeer.jpg
>TWO MORE WEEKS
Retards.
>Two more shots
A board that lives rent free in the minds of deranged NPCs
I wouldn't live there and I'm not even much of a gambler, but it has a charm that I've seen nowhere else in the world. Vegas is kino.
Someone tell me how the fuck a Spirit flight from DC to Vegas costs $500 a pop? How the fuck is that even possible? That shit has been under $200 for my entire life.
For $500 I can fly to any country in South America, and it won’t be on fucking Spirit.
Retard you have 3 airports within 30 miles. One of them has a sub-$250 flight to Vegas guaranteed
Every single ticket is at least 350. Even southwest has $400 tickets. And this is for early June, not last minute.
I just search Frontier for a June flight: $559 round trip.
I fly out of DCA, IAD, and BWI all the time. I checked all and invariably the total cost of tickets from all for spirit, Frontier, southwest, delta, United is $430+
Fellas is a two and a half month lead time REALLY last minute these days?
Are you booking like last minute or some shit?
Frontier is 250 round trip
Fly from baltimore
