Has anyone been to the Stalin museum? It's worth it.

Georgia has some dark-souls esque monuments that women love taking pictures in front of looking completely out of place for their social media lmao

this particular monument is pretty funny.
firstly not only are all the writing in georgian but it’s also in old dialect (kinda like shakespearean english) so no tourist can ever hope to read anything
and also it’s in the middle of the nowhere. there is nothing else around so tourists just go there look absolute moronic for a few minutes and come back

It's not in middle of nowhere. It's still within Tbilisi, maybe 40 mins by bus, less if you take a cab. Being there was a bizarre experience for sure.

    skip batumi
there is nothing georgian about batumi. it is just little vegas built for rich turks who can’t gamble in their country and other tourists.
if you want to see real georgian coastal town go to kobuleti where it is cheaper and you will meet many locals.
or small village ureki with a one of a kind black magnetic sand which many to have some healing abilities

Kobuleti is filled with armenian tourists who cant afford batumi though

I’m in Batumi. (Almost) no-one swims in the Black Sea, not sure if it’s the pollution or the cold water, but it was damn hot today. There are lots of gypsy beggars, I thought they were Syrian refugees at first but they look like Gypsies to me, can any Georgian gays confirm?

Anyway the promenade here is cool, good for a workout, also easy to find gyms etc. I’m very comfy but not here to see the real Georgia, just pass the time.

haven't been in batumi for 3 years but last time i was there it was already full of turks.
i don't remember any gypsies there. they can be kurds who could've easily crossed the border too since there isn't any real restrictions on who can come in georgia from turkey.
is water so dirty that people don't swim ? it was never very clean water in batumi but if it's in such state that people don't want to go in then that's fricked up.
      >promenade
yes, one of few good things about the city

shit like this makes me glad armenia is the second option to georgia lmao. keep that filth out of here, georgians made their bed by sucking EU dick

Batumi and Adjara was liberated from Turks, but it is impossible to separate it from Turkey completely at this point culturally too. It has a Muslim population, it is next to Trabzon and it has some Turkic meskhetians there.

That’s what you get for siding with dogturks, hope mehmet dick tastes good. What vatniks did to you is child’s play to what roaches will do to you once EU looks away

Batumi is bit of a shithole. Ugly, high rises made by Russian billionaires with more money than taste... avoid that place unless you're desperate for a swim. The climate is also God awful with all the moisture and high temperatures. The beaches suck as they are all harsh stones.

        Read this

        Week 2 west Georgia
        Day 1
Train to Kobuleti, book one of the nicer but still cheap hotels like Aquamarinn at the shoreline. Get used to the place and you can have a swim that day.
        Day 2
Drive to Batumi botanical garden, it's a big one and will take up to 3 hours to explore, then drive to Batumi, you can eat at generic spots like Grill town. I suggest just exploring Batumi as a city and not swimming there, all other mentioned places are superior for swimming. Taste Adjarian Khachaluri at Retro. In the evening on the way back you can eat some fish at Fishlandia.
        Day 3.
Drive to Dendrological park, on the way there pack food for the day from Kobuleti not that many good stuff up there. After Dendrological park to to a beach in Guria like Chakvi right there and relax for most of the day, beaches there are clean and water is very nice and warm usually with small pleasant weaves. It is also magnetic sand beaches so allegedly it has some health benefits. Drive back to Kobuleti, usually if you become friends with locals at the inn they will make every evening fun for you.
        Day 4
Get a tour to drive you around historical places in Adjara, various caves, Gonio fortress, Dandalo bridge, high mountain villages, waterfalls etc. Every evening and morning can be supplemented with just chilling at the beach.
        Day 5.
Drive to Guria again but this time go hiking to Gomis mta and it's surroundings for the whole day, it will be a great trip.
        Day 6.
Go to Batumi again, book a Dolphinarium visit and you can try out one of the more fancier restaurants like wine restaurant marani.
        Day 7
Train back to Tbilisi and fly back.

Guria has actually amazing beaches and it's insane that anyone goes to Batumi to swim

It doesn't make Batumi any less of a shithole though. Same with Kutaisi. Tbilisi is great though.

Batumi is shit, only nice for a visit
That's why I suggest staying in Kobuleti or Chakvi and driving to Batumi for a dining visit

Alright, here is a two-week tour I did for friends in Georgia as a Georgian, it might be an alright template since it was exactly 2 weeks. This will be very saturated though so pick and choose.

Week one central and east Georgia
    Day 1 after arrival.
Go to Old Tbilisi preferably by foot or bike through Rustaveli Avenue. Stop at Salobiebia for a snack. Explore old town perfect if you book sulfur baths. In the evening go to Keto and Kote it is a bit fancy but the view is very nice and it's in a historical building that used to belong to nobles.
    Day 2
In the morning rent a car or book a guy to drive you to Mtskheta, on the way there eat at a local spot just called Salobie. Go to Jvari Monastery, Mtskheta, Svebreastskhoveli, and areas around it, on the way back drive to Tbilisi sea and visit Chronicles of Georgia. Mid-day and evening same day go and have a stroll in other parts of Tbilisi like Vake and chill in mziuri park or something and then go to Wine factory and dine at Veriko alternatively you can go to Marjanishvili instead of Vake and go to Fabrika this will serve as a small appetizer of where zoomers and hipsters hang around.
    Day 3
Book a guy to drive you from Tbilisi to Jinvali, then to Kazbegi and everything around it, that's a whole day journey with a lot of places to see and on the way there eat Khinkali at Pasanauri village any restaurant really.
    Day 4
Drive from Tbilisi to Gori, check the Stalin museum, drive from there to Borjomi to check mineral waters and nature check the green monastery, eat at Pesvebi and spend a night there.
    Day 5
Drive to Likani nature reserve, from the drive to Bakuriani, you can visit Tabatskuri lake and drive back to Tbilisi.
    Day 6.
Drive to east Georgia Kakheti, visit Signagi and Telavi and Alaverdi. There is a whole bunch of stuff to see there plus it's great food and the main wine-making region in Georgia.
    Day 7.
Can be a chill day to relax in Tbilisi before next trip.

I would highly suggest taking more time to explore the areas surrounding Kazbegi - you could easily fill several days there - and not skipping David Gareji.

I think it's about fitting as much variety as possible in 2 weeks, that's how I wrote that mini guide
Otherwise you can of course modify it based on your preference
