I'll gonna travel to Denmark in 1 month for a 2 weeks vacation.

I'll gonna travel to Denmark in 1 month for a 2 weeks vacation. Should i learn a bit of their language through one of these shitty language apps like duolingo or babbel? What should i know about the country? And does they have some nice Fjords to visit?

    ok dude that's cool
    >Should i learn a bit of their language through one of these shitty language apps like duolingo or babbel?
no of course not. everyone in denmark speaks english better than you do
    >What should i know about the country?
    lego comes from there
that is literally the only thing you need to know
    >And does they have some nice Fjords to visit?
yes but you can only visit as part of a guided group led by a qualified expert. this is known as a Fjord Escort.

    >Denmark
    >Fjords
Up until 1814 when Norway was part of Denmark. Other than that, Greenland probably, but not mainland Denmark

You do not need to learn Danish, but a bit will be helpful. I lived in Denmark for a few months for an internship and not knowing Danish rarely negatively impacted me (almost every time it did was on public transportation). Visit all the major museums and palaces in Copenhagen.

Doesn't know what they are talking about. There are fjords in Denmark, particularly in Jutland. They are NOT as dramatic as the ones in Norway, but some of them are worth seeing if you are interested in fjords. If you do to Jutland to see them, visit den Gamle By in Aarhus, the Jelling Mounds and/or Ribe VikingeCenter.

Spend five days in Copenhagen just chilling, checking out the various areas. For great food recommendations use the Jungle app.

Then fly to Rønne and stay a few days there. Fly back and do two days on the North Coast of Zealand. Then a one-day trip to Møn. You can then either spend a couple of days on Samsø, or go to Silkeborgsøerne. Spend your final days in Aarhus and if you’ve grown tired, you can go to Skagen.

Reminds me of that story about the woman who used a live lobster tail to pleasure herself and it laid its spawn inside of her, and two weeks later she had to go to the hospital to get it washed out.

      Sorry.

You don’t need to know Danish as everyone except rural pensioners speaks English.

Danish isn’t hard to pick up for English speakers and you get a good amount of other Nordic languages for free. Duolingo is a good start if you really want.

Dane here, live my whole life in the same town in Jutland and seen most of the country, so here is the route I would take:

Copenhagen (with a day trip to Elsinore)
    Ribe
Silkeborg (with a day trip to Ebeltoft)
    Viborg
Skagen (and remember to visit Råbjerg Mile on the way)

Ribe and Viborg you can see in 1-2 days, but the others i would advise spending more time in. (Also Silkeborg is not that interesting as a town, but there are tons of beautiful natural places around it - check out Himmelbjerget!)

I'm also visiting Denmark. I'll be staying in Vejle and spending a day in Billund.
