I'm an European citizen and I need to renew my passport in order to travel outside the EU area. Because of bureaucracy that requires long waiting times, I'd like to travel with my ID card. I saw that I can visit these places without passport:
- Canary islands
- Azores Island/ Madeira
- Guadeloupe
- Saint Martin
So which of these (or other) countries you recommend me?
I didn't mention Egypt because I visited it and it's shitty as fuck.
Can't you visit Turkey and probably the whole of Cyprus as well?
Is Cyprus better than Crete or worth of visiting?
Dude, it doesn't take that long. At most it takes one week.
Maybe in your country dude.
In my country atm there are so many passport requests that they give your first appointment fucking months after you asked
Did you try just showing up?
They also only give appointments months ahead in my country, but that's why we walk up, and wait like 10 minutes before they call us... Because 90% of the people forget about their appointments, and not show up. So they call the walk-ups nearly immediately.
give more details on the type of trip you imagine having
all could be nice...
could also go to faroe islands or iceland
I'm not interested in nightlife, I'd like to visit a decent city with a reasonable amount of restaurants or shops. I'm also more interested in nature stuff and doing activities like visiting historical places, hiking or scuba diving.
Madeira
It’s one month during peak season and one week during low season. Right now should be 1-2 weeks so get your ass moving.
I can get a passport the same day by paying for express service. Does your country not offer that?
Some countries differentiate between limited use express passports that can be issued on the spot and regular passports that are issued in a central location and take a couple days to arrive.
My same day passport is a full fledged passport, not a limited use one.
LMAO
Like third world country but in Europe
What?
If you live inside EU, you can go anywhere.
As a portuguese guy, I do recommend madeira and azores. Really amazing.
I recently visited Madeira is pretty good.
I think to visit also Azores Island they look amazing
It is “a European” despite the word starting with a vowel you would think “an” is the right thing but European starts more of a soft J sound like a y
