Cyprus would be the easiest short and relaxing stay. The fun parts aren't too far away from the main airports. Georgia maaybe second. Nepal and Sri Lanka I also wouldn't miss for sure. Jorsan you also won't hate I think. I would do at least 2 trips to Cyprus, if it's just weekend trips.

Musandam is the most impressive destination I've been to, ever. I believe all gulf states have cheap flights to Khasab.
As for the others, define "short stay". I was in Bangladesh for 4 days which was enough to have a nice time and contract dysentery.

    >kuwait
    >a year
hahahahahahahaha onononono holy frick dude i sure hope they're paying you a gorillion dollars a year and providing you with a tight 18yo arab wife or something. kuwait is literal hell on earth, and this is from someone who loves arabs and their culture. depending on if you're a white or a jeet, your experience will either be really shit or literal kys-tier. i'll assume you're white. you need to get a hobby or something you're intensely passionate about or something that you can autistically study for literally every minute of free time you have, because there is so little to do in kuwait it's astounding. you'll see everything there is to see in less than a week, unless you're some weird insect instathot who loves malls, in which case you'll be fine. also for the six months that it's hell-level hot, you'll need stuff to do. if you're white, you'll probably interact with arabs at your job but practically never on the street, it's all jeets, flips, and other assorted browns. they're all nice enough but you'll notice they all look suicidal, which should tell you something.

in terms of trips for when you have time off, the best gcc country by far is bahrain. very chill, and reminded me quite a bit of singapore. if you have longer, like a week or two, explore saudi. take a while to go around ksa because it's actually very diverse and the southern areas are interesting. if you have the risk tolerance, iraq is very interesting and, in most parts, not as dangerous anymore. you can cross the norther kuwait border. all in all, good luck my man, you'll need it. a year doesn't sound like long but when you're stuck with your thoughts sat in your apartment in kuwait city because you can't go outside without your wiener melting off, it is.

there is next to no fricking in kuwait unless you mix into the expat crowd AND aren't shy to break some residency laws (single men aren't allowed women into their flat, etc.)

Young Kuwaiti guys and girls go to parties and events. Any intimacy is private though. It's a country where the predominate form of flirting is girls getting together in an SUV and driving up and down a certain stretch of road on weekend nights and guys get together and chase their cars through traffic just to airdrop them a 'hellow' or literally throw balled up pieces of paper with their phone numbers at them. The dudes who are more savvy with independence and connections usually know an expat who has a private apartment that they can use. Or they drive out into the middle of nowhere at night and do their illicit activities in a parked car in the dark. Weed, sex, drinking and gambling its all there. The rich guys will host parties in seaside vacation villas or on yachts in the open water where they invite a bunch of expat poojeetas or anglo English teachers (the parties with the pajeetas usually turn into all-you-can-frick buffets). Btw If you are an attractive white woman, you are treated very well in Kuwait because the guys will view you as frickable. If you are a white man then you're just a white monkey wagie working for their oilbux.

If you want to get with a rebellious Kuwaiti girl your best bet is to be a kpopmaxxed East Asian. Korean culture is very popular throughout the Gulf States with young women.

Prostitution is there. I enjoyed my time with Vietnamese girls there, although they can be hit or miss in terms of looks. Avoid the Africans though.

What you're saying is true, but funny enough, nearly every female bank teller I interacted with was flirty with me. I almost asked one out but was too nervous and unsure if flirting back would have negative consequences for for her (and me). One teller actually gave me some Kinder and said "it was something to remember her by." Also, one time I had a Niqabi girl give me the "frick me" eyes.

Escorts are expensive and not worth it in Kuwait. It's cheaper in Bahrain, but I prefer to fly to Batumi to enjoy a change in landscape and also good cooming. At my horniest, I was looking forward to proposition a Filipina cleaning lady who I hired for housekeeping based on her headshot, but my boner died when I saw her in person. Luckily, I met British girl working as a teacher at an int'l school who moved into my building and I charmed her with gin and weed, finding a convenient way to drain my balls. Spent many Thursday nights rolling a joint, smoking, fricking, and then eating shish tawook.

And I neglected to mention but yes, if you are attractive there will be flirtatious women. The girls there have mastered their sensual staring and you can feel their eyes following you while you're at starbucks getting coffee but really it ends there. There are no negative consequences per say, it's just highly unlikely for it to go anywhere. They're almost always in groups, so doing an opener is a non-starter because no one wants to be perceived as 'easy' by entertaining an advance. Even if you flirt with them and covertly pass them some contact info, that's just the beginning. And none of them are looking for quick dick. If they're interested in a foreigner, it's probably because they want to be whisked away from their boring life in Kuwait. I have met Kuwaiti women in Dubai, Batumi, even Cannes and they do let loose once they leave Kuwait. Kuwaiti lady colleagues come with me on business to UAE and come out at night to beach clubs with their hair down, wearing tank tops and drink alcohol.

They are normal people after all.

Also, ask me anything else for the /kwt/ general thread.

                >Escorts are expensive and not worth it in Kuwait

I had the opposite experience actually. But I may just have a different understanding of the term. It cost me 60BD to frick a call girl in Bahrain versus 20-40KD to frick in a brothel in Kuwait. Bahrain had a better selection of girls though; also they have massage parlors where the "ideal" therapist isn't a ladyboy. But I also didn't really spend much time in Bahrain (I was based in Kuwait) and only saw one girl. Bahrain is definitely a better country though.

Nice. The housing I was in were all people from my job. And the area was fricking boring.

What area did you stay in? I had to pick out my own accommodations and ended up renting an apartment in a new building off Baghdad Street in Salmiya. Was able to rent a car too so I got a Prado. I think living in Kuwait would have been fairly miserable without my own condo and car. All the condos in Salmiya are dogshit build quality though and the road noise from Gulf Street annoyed me non-stop.

Initially Salmiya, then Sabah Al Salem. Salmiya is pretty shit in general but it's the best shit Kuwait has to offer. I enjoyed my time there and it is "walkable" (by Kuwait standards). I didn't realize you could rent SUVs as a foreigner. I heard rumors that wasn't allowed. Sabah Al Salem is boring but the location isn't too bad for commuting to Mahboula and Salmiya.

I was invited there by one of the aristocratic merchant families to work with them on a massive engineering project as a consultant paid for by the State. I was well compensated and had a comfy expat package and tonnes of downtime (while waiting for the government to turn its gears). I was well respected at work and given three freshly-graduated hijabi interns for me to teach/supervise and for them to assist me. The pajeet handyman at my apartment handwashes my car every morning because it gets dusty in the desert. I constantly get invited to business events and conferences. I get cases of beer and whiskey from the British Embassy and I hosted pool parties at my apartment, inviting the bawdtiest desi expat girls I knew and having group sex with them at the end of the night.

There are FS thai massage parlours every other block and freelancers of almost every nationality. It's easy to find. I haven't been to Batumi in the last few years but the city still runs on the vice industry. I fricked a Turkiye girl there on vacation in 2019 through Tinder. I only visited for a few two night trips to blow off some steam, so hopefully someone else can chime in. I'm just going to assume that there are more Russians nowadays and prices are probably higher.

The muslim world seems like a hellhole. Either they have sharia or sharia-lite. Either they are full of toughts like Morocco, Egypt, to a lesser extent Turkey or they are rich, lazy Gulf Arabs who collect oil dividend checks for doing nothing and they are too stupid to run their own countries without massive expat armies that are often treated like shit(the third world migrants part of the notorious falakah system) or massively overpaid to be lured in to their hellholes(mostly those from white countries).

Kuwait is a dogshit country, by the way. You'll immediately recognize this by how shitty the airport is. Looks straight from the 80s. Also their lack of digital record keeping is honestly surprising. It has to take more effort to keep physical paper.

Bahrain's advantage is that it has cheap flights to everywhere east of the Atlantic. I was stationed there for a year and the novelty wore off fast (due in part to the tense nature of the Arab Spring). Sri Lanka was outstanding though. Everything was pretty cheap outside of Colombo and the people were super friendly

There are a couple of kite teams that fly out by Bnaidr. See if you can find out when they'll be out. They fly big shows at the National Holiday, but I think you just missed that. Not sure if they have set schedules or just fly when the urge takes them for the rest of the year. There are three big teams there, not sure where the third one flies.

Cox Bazar looks cool and maybe worth it if flights were cheap. Otherwise I'd skip most of those countries except idk Bahrain when you want to drink alcohol and its the only place around there that serves it. I'd also like to see Jordan.

Cox Bazar is a dump. You would unironically have a better time visiting Myanmar.
