I'm thinking of South Korea (Seoul) for the place I meet my online Vietnamese gf for the first time. Is this a good idea or not?
We don't want to meet in either of our home countries because it seems more fun to meet somewhere new for both of us. I'm British and I've only ever travelled to western countries before, whilst she's only ever travelled to Indonesia and Thailand. Any tips/recommendations for Seoul/SK or alternate places to visit are welcome.

I've not considered Hong Kong but Japan was our original plan (I'm no weeb but I'm far more familiar with Japan than SK) but we don't want to wait until it becomes completely open to travel. She also has familiarity with South Korea (she watches a lot of k-dramas and works for a Korean company with a lot of Korean colleagues)
