India

Hello fellow sighseelers

I'm traveling to India for a few weeks this Winter, I have a budget of 4-5 thousand give or take, flying in and out of New Dehli. I've never been, though I know some Hindi so I wouldn't be afraid of traveling to less touristy areas.

I know India is a massive country, but can any anons advise about cool regions to visit that are normally too hot/humid? I was thinking Rajasthan or Assam. I want to take advantage of the season so I don't want to go somewhere where it's the same temp year round.

Regions that will have cool to cold daytime temperatures and potentially frigid nighttime temperatures in winter:

    >Himachal Pradesh (in the mountains)
    >West Bengal (in the mountains)
    >Sikkim (in the mountains)
    >Arunachal Pradesh

Regions that will have moderate daytime temperatures and modestly cold nighttime temperatures in the winter:
    >most of North India (Punjab, Haryana, Delhi NCR, Bihar, UP, etc), most Northeastern cities

Regions that will be pleasantly warm during the day and pleasantly cool at night in the winter:
    >West Bengal
    >Odisha
    >Chhattisgarh
    >Madhya Pradesh
    >Andhra Pradesh (parts)

Regions that will be hot during the day and pleasantly cool at night in the winter:
    >non-coastal Maharashtra
    >Telangana
    >Andhra Pradesh (parts)
    >Goa

Regions that will be hot during the day and warm at night in the winter:
    >the remaining southern and coastal states (Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, etc)

      >Delhi
      >Moderate day temperatures
That place is an absolute furnace unless you consider average high 30s celsius as moderate

OP said in winter, you idiot.

If you think that Delhi is a “furnace” in winter, then you haven’t been to Delhi in winter. Nighttime temperatures often approach freezing in December and January; daytime temps are usually between 55-70F, give or take a few degrees on other side.

I will travel between Siliguri and Imphal.

I will be alone, white, sunglasses, backpack.

I will desire good food, cultural attractions and females.

You will tell me where to visit and what to expect.

Can a reasonably well put together fellow expect to pull women on tinder or other dating apps?

Other countries are no problem. But I repeatedly hear from people that it is just harder. It might be the honor killings or the open sewers. Who knows.

    Any insight?
