I just wonder how easy it is to get MILFs and GILFs on one.

      Anonymous

Most are probably with partners/husbands.There may be a few all-female groups but I'm guessing that would be pretty low as they'd rather be on a beach going crazy than on a frickin ship.

i'm guessing the vast majority of MILF posters have never actually been with one. it's a unique experience and worth trying but younger women are better in the overwhelming majority of cases

It is a very stress-relieving experience. Just do nothing all day except recreational activities, isolated from he world, served of everything.
It's not the best choice if you want an adventure in cities or nature.

how many cruises have you been on anon, waht are some of your favorite memories from the trip

        Anonymous

not that anon, but I've been on ones I enjoyed and ones that were meh. I think 5 total, out of which I really enjoyed 3.
        >very first cruise, from NYC to Halifax, Bar Harbor, Martha's Vineyard, and Boston
        >had an awesome time, enjoyed visiting the small towns and sailing in and out of port in the thickest fog I've ever seen. Bagpipes playing from a barely visible fort up the hill in Halifax was a really cool experience
        >went on Alaska cruise with mom and brother in 2019, food was excellent and views from the ship were fantastic. definitely my favorite cruise to date, Princess may be a retiree cruise line but fricking hell they hire good cooks
        >2012 "End of the World" Christmas cruise with family in the Caribbean. As a cruise it was ok, Cozumel was really the only fun port, but was with family and actually enjoy being with family, so we had fun together. Heavy weather on the way back to Florida from Cozumel, which I had a lot of fun with while half the family was seasick in cabin.

Not a fan of Caribbean cruises tbh, it's all the same cruise-line packaged bullshit and souvenir trinkets in cruise-owned "safe" areas with every trip outside being basically poverty tourism. A few places can be exception, but most islands and central/south American ports outside of Mexico seem to be like that, and I don't like contributing to that kind of industry. Hence why I liked Alaska and New England so much, and I'd love to do Med and Nordic cruises too.

        >you forgot the upsell on LITERALLY FRICKING EVERYTHING
Yeah, so what? It's optional. That's why cruises are so inexpensive. Sorry you're a drunk who can't afford a drink package or are so autistically meek you can't simply say no to a photographer (not that you have to buy the photo anyway), well that is a personal problem. Regular people budget for those add-ons or don't buy them.

        >still having to tip even though from and touring to non-tipping countries
Already rolled into the cost of the cruise. You can tip extra if you like, but you aren't obligated to.

No matter how you feel about cruises, they're great.

If you like them, that's perfect; no further questions. If you don't like them, they still need to be aggressively shilled. Let the boomers and basic b***hes go on cruises, while you do the real traveling. The fewer people there are in your way, the better.

They're great if you literally want to not do anything. If you've been working 60 hour weeks for several months, I could see the appeal of a cruise. Or if you're so old you can barely move. But any young healthy person should not look to cruises for their sense of adventure obviously.

I thought mine was worth it. If the pandemic ever blows over, I'd like to take the Aranui cruise from Tahiti to the Marquesas and back. Given that I don't think I can swing buying my own sailboat, learning to sail, find a compatible crew, and doing the voyage. And I think their run out to Pitcairn is a little steep.

I'd be very surprised if anybody does an Antarctic cruise more than twice unless they are working aboard. And very few would do it more than once.

i like that fact that there is absolutely zero need for logistics on a cruise ship. everything is taken care of. food, rooms, entertainment, destination. i don't have to plan anything. just wake up and so something.
it's a lazy man's vacation, and it excels at that.

Cruise shipping is for overworked parents who are tired of doing the tedious administrative shit of their day to day life, and want to just flop down for a bit and have zero responsibilities.
    It’s basically adult day care.

i can see the pros of them, ive never done them, i'd rather be at a beach resort, or a self catered property on a nice beach, or visit port cities at my own pace not worrying about this is my only chance to see all the port in one day.

are you only thinking of typical caribbean or mediterranean ports on the cruise?

there are cruises to areas of the world that you get to see things you wouldn't normally like like norwegian fjord cruise or Alaska
there are river cruises that typically cater to boomers in europe Rhone, Rhine, Danube etc or meme historic adventure - like Nile or Mekong or Mississippi.

also there are luxury train trips that are like a cruise, but its a train so less amenities like those japanese luxury trains - but they exist in south africa, south america also

If you book one blind and hate it then yes, it's moronic. But, if you know what you are getting and know how to maximize your time onboard, then it's actually an incredibly efficient, stress-free, and relaxed way to see the world in an uncommitted sort of way. The ports of call give you a superficial feel of the region, albeit diluted with the inherent tourist trap industries that inevitably inundate those port areas. At nighttime you get pre-arranged entertainment/standup comedy/various stage performance, plus there's a gym and casino if you want. The ratio of staff on each ship is something like 1:4 so the service you get is of decent quality. Would I do it alone? No. But with the right person it can be romantic.
