    I live there

    Pros
    Latinas with big asses
    Low cost of living
    Low crime
No natural disasters like tornadoes or hurricanes
No racism everyones an immigrant here
Friendly people although not as much as before
    Good.food
Next to juarez so cheap medical tourism and escorts
Decent enough entertainment for a non coastal town like theater , museums, street shows.

    Cons

No good jobs, literally only healthcare , criminal justice system, and education systems pay decent
    Many fat people
Hard to get laid if you arent a thug or a chad
morons street racing everyday so noisy as shit living next to any street
    Drunk drivers crashing everyday
    Normal drivers are morons too
Crime low but increasing every day
Weather sucks balls too hot 6 months out of the year but winter and fall is kino

Definitely one of the most unique American cities. Culturally fits in much more with New Mexico than Texas.

Its cheap but there's not a ton of jobs and not a lot of high class stuff. Very low crime though. There's a university so there's some nightlife but nothing crazy.

Super high Mexican population. Generally nice, hardworking people but there's a lot of brain drain do to the lack of jobs. Average person is not the most worldly or intellectual.

You're also in the middle of nowhere pretty much. Juarez to the south which isn't a great city to visit (although I've never been). Nothing to the East or West, closest interesting place I can thing of is Marfa with is a 3 hour drive. North there's Las Cruces and White Sands and Cloudcroft.

Personally I'd probably just move to Las Cruces over El Paso but its a place that could appeal to some. Definitely a low barrier to home ownership. Probably not a bad place to start a business either although it's not a place super flush with extra income.

I passed through Las Cruces briefly on a road trip and it felt sinister and somewhat evil, is this normal?

there's not much to do and no white people although lots of light hispanics who'd call themselves white
Juarez is probably more fun to visit for an afternoon just because it's 'colorful' shitty mexico
seems like a pretty comfy place to live

I spent an afternoon in El Paso before crossing to Juarez. Downtown has some nice art deco architecture. Banks, theaters. There is a nice western feel to downtown.

As with every American city, not walkable & filled with non-whites. Boy, I bet that place used to be pretty nice

El Paso is one of the least pleasant cities I've been to in my life. I went there for a wedding... The population is like 85% mexican, they were mostly nice but a lot of locals do not speak English at all, there were bars on every window everywhere, the place was generally dirty and run down, and the air pollution was insane. Between all the shit emitted by Juarez and an oil refinery right downtown the air was like Beijng tier when I was there. The smelter looked cool but was closed when I went there and they tore it down, but I bet that thing was nasty too. Nothing grows there at all, so its all barren desert with hot as balls weather in the summer and freezing AF in the winter.
