why do people move to melbourne? the city was designed for 300k now it's ballooned to a 4 million bubble 40km radius of suburbs with terrible public transport options, very high cost of living, $700k+ houses, $2k+/month rents. you will burn through $50k a year ~200k rmb just renting a room. if you don't drive you can't get anywhere, keeping a car on the road is another 25k rmb.
if you have the type of money to splurge eg. hundreds of thousands in savings, then you need to go to bigger cities in italy, greece, spain which are far cheaper and more liveable. are asians just fucking dumb? i see so many of them come live here and it shocks me.
