Canada is a nightmare. The cost of living vs the salary in a large city cannot be compensated. The immigration process is extremely slow, you’ll have to wait years just to get a PR. Citizenship will take even longer. Once a humanitarian crisis happens anywhere in the world that country gets priority. You being Italian means you’ll always be the lowest priority.
