Serious answer, i would have it go along a coast and stay at every port for a decent time. Make it more of a convenient and mobile hotel like they do on the Nile. Tone the cruise activities down to the bare minimum.
>a CRUISE SHIP
hey i know you really like unique trips no one else does because youre so special so might i interest you in visiting north sentinel island?
Sometimes you just want your hotel room to travel from city to city while you sleep. I suppose a sleeper train tour could also do this, in some places.
Have you looked into the Norwegian coastal ferry "Hurtigruten"? The time in port varies from port to port (villages with little cargo get shorter stays than cities like Trondheim), and on-board organized activities are things like a ceremony for crossing the Arctic Circle.
I know the consensus of sighsee is cruises are old and gey, but are they really that shitty? What if I wanted to just eat, drink, pool, repeat? I don't care for entertainment except the mood to not do anything in Florida that i live and i want to Vidya a bit too or catch backlogs. Visiting a Caribbean city would be a plus since I'm not used to traveling except for family. Or are there better alternatives for low effort around here?
cruises are fun. >oh no fat old people also enjoy thing
people who hate on cruises are just hipster contrarians who wanna feel like special snowflake ssame people who "avoid" rome and venice to go to aome shithoke city no one wanta to live in cause ita like so unique and untreaded xd
I don't like cruises, ergo I must be a contrarian (to what?).
No, but its very clear the reason is being a contrarian when the only points raised are that "its popular and theres lots of boomers doing it."
Popular with who? It's mostly older crowd. Most posters here are really young. There's not much for a young person to do there. If you don't care about drinking or just eating (both of which you can do infinitely better off boat), what's the fucking appeal? If you want to be on a sea, you can buy one of those sailing boat tours for a day or two probably for less than what they charge for these things. In short, I think they're boring as fuck, it really is like paying for a really expensive hotel, but being stuck in it all day.
To be humble, would more look for a fresh experience. Family went there when I was a wee lad, so still a little curious to see what was the hype. Don't care about the boomers unless they decide to not mind their business, hell maybe I might get a little chatty with them, get a beer and such. Not that I'm an old fart, but definitely would catch some attention being a solo traveler my age. Figuring things on maybe RC too.

They're not that shitty

Do this at a hotel somewhere for a fraction of the price instead. Better food, more options, more to do.
That's what I was guessing, thing is and do mind my Ignorance, a hotel in the US usually doesn't have that all inclusive resort feature, do they? I just don't want to look for a meal all the time. But i will say, I might just go cruise for the novelty. If I waste my money, so be it. But i do want to see an alternative to it here in South Florida. I just don't wanna travel to those goddamn parks that I'm over it for now.
Also to add, i do travel overseas. Just want a more local and easier to get-to destination. Key west is an interesting one, but no easy way to transport myself there. (No car for foreseeable future)
Car got destroyed, will hold off another car as prices got way too high and don't need one to commute.
Cooking is not a difficulty, but i don't want to be bothered if I'm traveling. Afraid to travel? Naw, anon you have to try better
Haha what a loser , 30 years old and afraid to travel because he has weed induced anxiety
, even with this obvious post, i only drink and smoke cigs. Weed is so hey. I just want to think budget options. Is it too hard to imagine someone not wanting to fuck their finances too much? I just want a week of chill. Also better solo than crazy folks trying to get in the fun. sighsee and IRL advice I've best got here is to not go with drainers and coomers.

The experience was ok overall. Wouldn’t pay for it but I can see why 70 year olds with mobility problems love them
Having to dress fancy and queue for my dinner was crap and the entertainment was distilled cringe. But got to see a bunch of stuff I’d never ever see otherwise. Sitting in the balcony reading a book while the ship did boat stuff was nice. Very strict schedule at port was probably most annoying
You're sick in the head.
its like a hotel but you can't leave.
Hey would you anons improve the cruise ship experience.
Have actors dressed up as Somalian pirates storm the ship
somalians or are we putting filipinos in black face?
Flips in blackface.
"Ello sir, we are ere to ransom your vacation. Don't be concerned, you have a lovely family, God bless."
if i were a somalian pirate i would specifically target this vessel on the chance i could get everyone to play along

This.
Shit gets boring real fast, so being able to disembark to explore a port town and local sights for the whole day would be so much better.
Then fly to the fucking city and go form there
You know what you're signing up for when you go on a CRUISE SHIP

there are cruises like this already, new city every day

Make it a floating brothel
What's the appeal of cruise ships? Go there, get drunk on overpriced booze? I don't get it.
There is none. Theyre Boomer relics.
>Theyre Boomer relics.
I can tell you haven't been on one in the last 20 years
If you can't see everything thru the lense of your daddy issues you are clearly a failure at life
Sounds like you're projecting.
Ive actually never been on one because theyre for Boomer alcoholics and trashy shitheads who cant afford a proper vacation overseas.
On a Disney cruise? Same as Thailand get drunk and bang kids
Only reason I would go on a cruise is to fuck tipsy MILFs.
Has anyone here done this and can confirm this is possible?
You coomers spend your whole life trying to score used up skanks and get nowhere. Will you ever learn? (No)
go back to your containment thread
Doesn't exist anymore, mods kept killing it

Are people really this dumb here or is it all the corona and election newfags?
nah you are
nope

That's one evening and people just do it for fun, you are under no obligation to
