Niagara Falls

I'll be traveling with my gf through Toronto, and she really wants to visit Niagara Falls (Canada side). It looks like it takes an hour and a half from Toronto, and the last returning train leaves Niagara for Toronto around 8pm. How long would you expect to stay there? It seems to me like one of those places where you daytrip to, hang out for an hour and take pictures, and leave. maybe round trip 4 or 5 hours. thanks

Depends on how much you want to dive into the falls themselves. There's a visitors center there that offers a package that includes a tour of the power plant museum as well as a walk "under" the falls themselves. I personally thought it was neat. If you want that experience then I would budget 3-4 hours for it. Otherwise you could just walk around that boardwalk thing looking at the falls from different angles and call it a day after an hour or two.

Don't act like a tourist when you're there, that would be my best piece of advice. Out of town people routinely get their asses kicked and their spines snapped if they start acting arrogant, so be mindful of your behavior.

Canadians are weak, their bones easily broken.

That mentality, that's how you end up getting your spine snapped by a local.

Imagine beating beaten by a Canadian lmfao. It's like getting beaten up by a woman.

Consider yourself lucky you aren't in front of me right now, I just got done beating the absolute piss out of somebody and I wouldn't mind giving another beatdown to a pussy who stepped out of line.

I’d love to see you try to do anything to me. You wouldn’t do jack shit. As soon as you laid a hand on me I’d snap your spine.

I wouldn't have to try to do anything, I would do a quick sweep of with my legs, and then immediately start beating the shit out of you. I'm classically trained in hand to hand combat so any effort you think I would be expending on a pissant like you, is a misunderstanding. I beat the shit out of peasant smart-mouths on a daily basis.

How are you going to do anything like that when you’re crippled. Hope you’ll enjoy being a limp dick for the remainder of your life

Is holding a giant pole like that supposed to help with balance? I don't see how but why else would he have it?

Just went there for the first time last month and it was also a daytrip
Took the 1st bus out of Union (6:30 AM) and arrived earlier than scheduled.
Only opted to take the boat ride under the falls which was quite kino. I didn't go to the nearby casinos so I only spent a few hours there. Took the 11:30 bus back to Toronto.
If you really just want to see the falls you do not need to spend an unnecessary amount of time there as you'll want to go somewhere else.

tldr; only spent 3 hours at the falls including a boat ride. Didn't go anywhere else

Best way to do Niagara Falls, anything outside the falls and the bridges is depressing.
Feel free to do the same tour in the evening again, the illuminations can be quite stunning.

yeah it's a good idea for a daytrip.
Just a word of advice, while poojeet poster appears to have been finally banned by the mods, be prepared for waves of pajeets (brown Indians and Punjabis) at Niagara Falls.
This isn't the Canada of 2016; in the meantime we have had 3 million Indians and Pakis settle in the country, most of them in the Toronto area

      That's way higher than that.
Canada has had 4 million in the last 2 years. Probably around 6 million immigrants since 2016. They don't count anyway so who knows.

I remember going to Niagra Falls on Easter back when I was a student and I had to have been one of the handful of white guys in a veritable throng of people.

If you ever feel like going to India, just head on up to Toronto for any major holiday.

The falls themselves are fine, but I enjoyed the area immediately around it better. Personally I'd get a car and drive around to some wineries or something. Niagara on the Lake is a good town.

Yeah, short day trip there. Besides the falls, there's nothing to do there unless you're one of those brainless tards at the slot machines.

Also don't go on a weekend. Entire flocks of Pajeets picnicing around the falls because it's free.
