>paid for round trip plane tickets. >got full amount deposited back but still says I paid

>paid for round trip plane tickets
>got full amount deposited back but still says I paid
>couldn't reach agency where I got the tickets
>went on the flight without issue
>now get an email with a new payment link
What do I do here? I could just buy a cheaper one way ticket home and not show up for my return flight but I feel like they could make a case out of this if they wanted to. Pic unrelated.

You pay the amount due because that's what you agreed to pay when you booked the flight.

If you don't pay they will just sell your debt to a collection agency, and they will slap you with outrageous interest rates and harrass you until they're paid

I'm leaning towards just paying them. I don't really know what my rights are here. What're the chances a debt collector is gonna show up? Wouldn't want to book a new flight and then still having to pay for the old one

So you booked a return flight, somehow managed to get your money refunded without cancelling the ticket, used the outbound leg of that flight and now you're wondering what to do?
If you want to take the original return flight then you pay using the link they sent you and fly back as if you never had any refund.

If you don't want to take the original return flight then you should contact the airline and find some way to pay the outbound flight because otherwise they will let your outstanding payment go to collections and that can become costly, especially since you can't claim that you didn't use the flight.

I understand, since I already booked a new return flight I’ll contact the airline and see how I’m going to pay my flight

Don't pay, if you get contacted by the debt collector tell then that you already paid and they will leave you alone no one is putting effort into a small claim

Don't pay them, they can't do anything. Get your own flight back. Ignore all contact from them forever forward.
I had flights booked and HSBC honoured the payment but forgot to send the money. I took the flights and they chased me for fricking ages to pay them the money.
    >How did you book flights and not pay
I didn't approve the transaction dumb fricks im the customer. It's a debit card, If there's no funds, the payment fails. That's how debit works.
Anyway I just ignored them after that, no one even cares anymore.
