San Francisco

What is there to do?
Any special local food worth trying?
Hostel recommendations?
Where to drink and meet people? I was thinking of going to Berkeley to pick up college girls. (i have a british accent)

I have a week there.
I was thinking of doing a couple of days in Yosemite
And possibly a day trip to Monterey and Big Sur

It's a Paris like place, toilet full of awful people with beautiful architecture.

There's good food in SF, whatever you're looking for. I find the asian food there to be the best value though.

You're doing the euro thing, it's like 4 hours each way to big sur. Santa Cruz is an easy day trip though.

Bro you are not going to go to Yosemite, Monterey, and Big Sur in a week you'll be tired from the driving. Especially because Route 1 is a windy, dizzy mafa
I'll let you in on a sekrit, from San Francisco head north of the Golden Gate to the Marin Headlands/Tamalpais, or Stinson Beach/Muir Woods, or Point Reyes Ntl Seashore. It's the best the Bay Area has to offer. Don't go looking for history it's a useless endeavor
Also Berkeley is the premier ideologue breeding center, I'd try SF State they're a bit more mature and won't chew your ear off.

Don't listen to this man. Yosemite and Pfeiffer/Big Sur are awesome and more worth your time than anything in SF. You can absolutely do them in the same week. Hit up Yosemite your first two days, then drive back to San Fran for a few days before heading down to Pfieffer/Big Sur. You can spend the night in Monterey or Carmel if you don't feel like driving all the way back to SF that night. I hit up all those places with no problem in 10 days when I went, but I also hit up a bunch of other spots, so I can't imagine it being difficult with just 7.

    Hahah

Berkeley is lesbians, like San Fran is for homosexuals

Go to Spanger’s for Dungeness crab, and clam chowder in a locally baked sour dough bowl. See sea lions near by

    Eat See’s candy, it’s very SF/California

Buy LSD from a homeless guy on hippie hill

    Aquarium of the bay

The famous ‘painted ladies’ Victorian homes near the panhandle of Golden gate park. One of which was the Full House house, and another was in Mrs Doubtfire

    City lights bookstore

Haight/ashbury visit the homes of Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Charles Manson, the Melvin’s, and the Grateful Dead

There’s a small tree in GG park that Joplin would play under. Google it, and go visit

    Shit in the street

Watch a crackhead suck off another crack head in the tenderloin

    Visit Harvey milks ashes

    Academy of Sciences

So far, Bartlett Hall is my favorite place to drink.

    Smoke weed.

    Walk across GG bridge

Smoked duck/chicken feet in China town

Ive lived in SF for 20 years. Excluding your meme jokes, you got so many things wrong that I'm awestruck. Please nobody take any of his advice.

i lived in sf and despise most of these things, but from a tourist perspective, i'd say this is a pretty solid list. gg = golden gate park, a great place to picnic and people watch. try as many ethnic foods as you can - indian, vietnamese, chinese, mexican, sea food. ghiradelli chocolate, not sees. that's one thing i miss about sf - excellent food. also plenty of fine wine (close to napa), craft beer and coffee.

ditch yosemite, monterey and big sur. they are much further than you think and traffic can be brutal. berkeley is okay but i would suggest just doing what you can in sf. the women are also uber feminist - you have better chances with ucsf girls.

      adding
an evening giants game. buy the cheapest tickets possible and tour the ballpark instead. leave early if you get bored, plenty of bars and restaurants in the area.

if you manage to wake up with a girl, one of my favorite things to do is go to the ferry plaza building, getting blue bottle coffee, buying a few local beers, some acme bread, cowgirl cheese and sliced deli meat. then, take an uber to crissy fields and have a picnic. it's romantic as frick or you cry alone like used to.

keep your head on a swivel, day or night. the homeless situation might be a little shocking but just don't interact with any of them and you'll be fine.

bart/muni are good ways to get around but take rideshare if you can afford it.

Once you get 1000 Redddit Gold they send you a free keyboard.

It's kind of annoying but I'm gonna use it for street cred if I ever get a date.

Oak fire...smokey af forget going to Yosemite..
Monterey is 3.5 hrs away easy drive and a nice get away..do the aquarium walk on seaside beach and lovers point.. then drive 17 mile road and wonder what it would be like to rich... stop in between. Big sur is a bit further and camps crowded now with tourists.. might like the napa wine country. easier if you have frens. stay at the phoenix hotel in SF. You wont pull any thing in berkeley,, easier in the city, go to some mission bars, union street, haight, castro... fckthelot

Hey, met a weird asian dude who looked old and homeless. He was telling me to go into the lion's den bar, and there's an underground chinese museum, a restaurant, bar, and nightclub... and all the girls are 100% free.

Wtf is going on? Is there deeper depths of this conspiracy iceberg about SF?

Tacolicious in the mission is fricking delicious. Order the pastrami tacos. Get a pitcher of margarita. Enjoy your $100 bill for 5 tacos and 3 drinks.

    Go to Muir Woods.
Bike across the golden gate bridge.
alcatraz is fun. Definitely spend at least 3 days in Yosemite if the fires are out. Get a yurt in curry village.

Don't go to Berkley. It's a homeless shithole.

I stayed at a hostel there and it was the worst. The hostels there are full of poor and mentally ill Americans. Literally.mentall unstable borderline homeless people.
