seasonal work

Anyone do any seasonal work? Preferably in Europe as I got an EU passport.

I'm currently working in a kitchen and it honestly sucks as the hourly pay is not great, but I am still saving a decent chunk of my income as I got no real expenses beyond a measly fee for the room I'm staying in.

I don't mind hard work as long as it pays better than kitchen work. No interest in developing further into kitchen roles as kitchens are full of morons and hopeless wagies pulling 70 hours per week without paid overtime.

Exactly! I made some dumb decisions to wind up here. Not everyone is a moron, but most are. Some are serial masochists because every other chef has a story how they worked 80 hours per week with unpaid overtime. I'd give in my two weeks notice and work my contracted hours if that was asked ASAP, but more than many talk about it as if it was something to be proud of. Had I better language skills atm, I'd just do front of the house and deal with snobby tourists than the stress that is kitchen work. You're less liable to frick your colleagues too in the kitchen as you don't interact as much with young and good looking (not guaranteed but definitely more lookers wind up in FOH) floor staff. Imagine depressed dudes or helpless wagies.

Netherlands. You probably knew this before reading my answer. But if you have an EU passport and need to work temporarily, you go to the Netherlands.

It has many opportunities for foreigners, most people speak English and the salaries are the best in Europe for the kind of kob you are going to do. I worked there on summer when I was in university

    Are you male or female?

If you learn massage and become certified you have a skill you can work in resorts or hotel spas for good money or work freelance at any time. It's much easier for women to work.

If English, Spanish, Chinese, Russian are fluent for you, try to work as a governor/governess. You tutor rich kids for good money. You should have experience and qualifications in childcare and education.

Can you ski? You can be an instructor at ski resorts in the winter.

Are you good with mechanical stuff, Be a mechanic, pays well enough.

Are you desperate? Sell your body, prostitution is legal in Netherlands, Poland, Czechia

You could work in a kitchen in a ski resort or a beach resort seasonally

I'm doing the first already. My colleagues are mostly boring boomers or middle aged people, so it's not very exciting. At least if they had hot chicks around it would make life easier.

No, you would be doing your work and then picking up after them

I never do, besides I'm BOF. You can flirt with attractive women and not be taken for a fool, although I fairly decent looking.
