Small towns in the middle of the woods are underrated for traveling.

Small towns in the middle of the woods are underrated for traveling. I'm talking about stereotypical towns somewhere around oregon or washington that have this very traditional downtowns full of red-brick and wood buildings. They make you feel the true essence of american culture.

If there was a decent list of welcoming places, I'd love it. Doesn't seem to be the most welcoming folk though

Detroit Oregon was so kino but now its burnt to a crisp. There still is a few nice places in Oregon like it in the cascades and coastal range. Colorado is the really nice for what youre describing tho, I imagine New England as well. By the time people started settling the mountains of the PNW America already was garbage

You won't be touching grass in Europe as the plantation owners paved it over for housing all the criminals they import to terrorize the natives

US is 53% white if you dont count middle eastern as white, most european countries are 90% white.

People in the country handle things themselves, RaySean. You should stick to stealing in the cities.

I was sleeping under a bridge just outside of urban area. No fire, no noise or garbage laying around. Screamed at me and threatened to kill me even when I made it clear I was no threat and would leave if he cared that much.

Washington and Oregon are great to visit ignore our politicians outside the city areas people are fairly normal we have great summer weather and outdoors activity from cannon beach to the Columbia River gorge one is the most underrated places in America to see and hike

          key word visit
I moved to washington under some sort of PNW freedom delusion and found it to be one of the most depressing places I have ever lived in my life, with some of the most hopeless and pathetic people I have ever known.
The natural beauty is without compare, but holy frick the sad sacks living there drag it all down if you try to fit in.
Every activity felt like coping mechanism for the general misery and malaise that had settled over the area. Even camping felt like 'escaping the fricking shit in the town'. I don't want to feel like everything I was doing was an 'escape', I wanted to feel like it was what I was there to do and part of the lifestyle.
Spent 1 year in eastern WA then got the frick out.

Also frick the homeless junkie vermin and the dumbfrick christgays and leftoids that feed them. Imagine having a roomate who brings wienerroaches into your home and puts out scraps for them to feed off of and breed, and then screeches bloody murder when you try to exterminate them.

I'm not a hobo I could literally buy one of those shitty carboard houses in cash. I just like to thru hike and live amongst nature.

You can get one of those redneck dwellings for 70k dude my point is not everyone who thru hikes is some stinking stain on society. Do you know how many silicon valley types I meet on the trail? Bitter people like you can't afford to take 6 days off from your shit office jobs let alone 6 months, so I get why you're so mad.

You are a drug addict who sleeps on the ground and gets mad because homeowners who own their $ million homes outright can tell you to leave and you are powerless to do anything except cry on an incel forum

aw bro thats too bad, you should have explained to the redneck with a shotgun that you weren't a 'hobo', and that you were just a 'through hiker' who happened to look like every other junkie hobo motherfricker in the area

I'm sure he would have understood

This is true. Hood River, Oregon is a good example of this. Not far from the shithole known as Portland, and the only good thing about that place is that things very quickly get better as soon as you are even 5-10 minutes away. Oregon has a lot of these places.

yeah they are nice to stop in, but god help you if you live in one
watching the slow decay of your beautiful small town, and the influx of boomers and instantaneous disappearance of young men and women as soon as they graduate highschool is depressing as frick
its just a bunch of old folks and seasonal workers, and middle adults are all meth heads or fricked up somehow and are 'stuck' there
