South Dakota or Thailand?

What are the differences in terms of people, culture and modern conveniences? How are women? Is there a flood of rowdy sexpats at night? Out door activities? Strange laws to be aware of? Tipping customs? Historic sites?

Which is better for a 10 day vacation? I'm from the UK so both are pretty equal in terms of flight time and distance and jet lag.

Definitely South Dakota. Similar climate and culture as Thailand but it's cheaper

South Dakota used to be relatively nagger free. No longer has that going for them.

From my research the entire state is 1.7% black and it seems to be in 1 city?

I love the arbitary number of 25 as the cutoff for an acceptable number of blacks in a county
        but thanks for your research

Once you start getting into the 10% to 20% range, your city starts looking fucked. It should never get above 5% or the naggers will spawn cockroach motels.

South Dakota is full of fat people, with barely anything to do besides outdoor stuff. Thailand has gorgeous outdoor vistas, not so many obese people, better food, older historical sites, and better partying.

How much do you like hunting and fishing? I think the hikes even out, if you have no preference for tropics vs mountains.

I'm a neighbor to South Dakota and go there once or twice a year. I love it and think it's one of the most underrated states. Have you ever been to the US before? I've never been to Thailand, but I'm sure the vibe there is completely different. What time of year would you be travelling?
The western part of SD and the badlands are where it's at. No sexpats there at all. It's the opposite of rowdy except maybe at the big Sturgis biker rally, but that could be a cool place for you to visit. I think Harald Balde or one of those youtubers did a vlog there. As far as conveniences you can find anything there but you might have to drive a bit for it. You can't visit without a car.
The main appeal of SD is outdoor stuff. It's like Colorado, but without the hippy liberal rich kids. My favorite town is Hot Springs. It's on the southern edge of the Black Hills, about an hour or so from Rapid City. There are springs there, there's swimming holes, lots of good hiking, waterfalls, wildlife watching (bison, prairie dogs), fishing (there's a big trout reservoir with rentable equipment), an active dig mammoth site, Wind Cave NP is cool and Custer State park is great, lots of really nice drives. Some good restaurants which honestly can be kind of hard to find in a small American town. Food is mostly classic American, steaks, bison, burgers, fried food, etc. There's a nice little classic American diner and ice cream shop called Two Cows Creamery with all ingredients and has a little farmers market inside. The town itself is not as busy as places like Deadwood or Sturgis, but those are also great places to visit. I'm sure you could rent guns somewhere and go shooting too. Mt Rushmore is ok, kind of overrated, but you can see it from the road so you dont have to pay to get in. Crazy Horse monument is cool because it's under construction and they have a museum about native Americans, and you can take a bus tour to the top.

You could stay at the KOA in a cabin for cheaper than a hotel and you might be able to meet other people having a bonfire or whatever, although KOAs tend to be more family oriented. People are very friendly and would be fascinated to meet a British person, you'd probably get invites to go shooting or fishing if you meet the right people. Tipping is same as everywhere else in America. As far as history it's old west stuff. You could also drive down to Toadstool Park in Nebraska and the Chadron area, they've got a lot of cowboy stuff down there.
If you like mountains, wide open spaces, and the old western, classic American aesthetic then South Dakota is a great place.

Badlands NP (where your OP pic was taken) is also a really cool park. Amazing place to see the stars at night with no light pollution at all and some really breathtaking views.

I have no game and I'm not that attractive and hooked up with a local big titty thicc girl when I visited recently. She told me the dating scene is beyond grim and any guy who showers and has a career is better than the rednecks in rapid city

Really? I was joking but that sounds like it could be good
Are you from there or were you actually there as a tourist

Seriously, small town america can be very good for getting laid. There probably won’t be too many people in the area, but if you’re just mildly attractive you might be the best option within 100 miles

Been to both and SD is the superior option. There's way more to do (assuming you have a car and like outdoors stuff). And the cooming is pretty good as long as you have a tinder. Another option: plant yourself in a small town for a few days and the local women will be wowed by your wealth. Works every time.

South Dakota is an untouched, pristine frontier. Thailand is flooded with middle aged pedophiles. The locals will attempt to scam you and if you dislike troons it’ll be hell on earth for you
