Nature and outdoor activities never struck me as a popular activity in Korea- the country is way too urbanized and the people are all obsessed with everything that comes with that: makeup, clothing, nightlife, shopping malls, bars, Instagram worthy restaurants. But yes, it is very mountainous and has nice some scenery, but I don't know if youll be able to hike it and explore it like its Colorado or something.

You've never attempted hiking in Korea, then. I do not like the Korean style of hiking, like it's just straight paths up the mountain, and then down the mountain. But there's a lot of that style of hiking, and hiking is insanely popular. There's hordes of old ladies who hike with backpacks bigger than themselves, AND who are always gonna be faster than you, no matter how fast you are. (Their stamina is insane.) The views are indeed not as amazing as most everywhere else in Asia, but they still have some forests and all.
Note that you really have to bring a whole day of supplies. The internet connection is great as per usual, but there isn't much more infrastructure on most mountains than just internet. This can also mean no water, so bring water, too. Obviously delpends on the mountain. A pro compared to hiking in some of the US is that you won't run into wild animals that would be dangerous for humans.

Just full of a ton of stuff. Itaewon is more expensive and has stricter dress codes, which is likely due to Hongdae mostly being very young college kids.
Mike's Cabin is mandatory for all foreigners to visit. They play latin music, but its very foreigner friendly, great drinks, cheap, big, and because it's so foreigner friendly all the Koreans there are going to be more receptive to you. From there you have other options depending on what music you like. Aura and Cocoon, which play electronic music--unless you go the Aura Bar which is connected but separate from Aura. NB2 and Sinkhole are hiphop clubs.
I highly recommend you club hop. Do not stay at just one place. You could literally go to, and I have, all the clubs I previously mentioned in the same night and have a fantastic time, Clubs pick up after 10 pm, peak at around ~1-2 AM, drop off at around 3-4am, and die completely by 5 am unless you go to a place like Madholic. Regardless, just wonder around at night and you'll see a lot, find a club that looks interesting and just go.

It's nice if you want to go clubbing at a more modern NYC, but it comes with a lot of negatives, including an inability to use google maps to get around. Food? Better at Szechuan or Japan. Nature? The post town hikes and Mt. Fuji in Japan are too kino, same with China and the limestone forest or the rice paddy slopes carved onto mountains, or cave exploration in Vietnam. Megacities? Japan has them and with a lot more draw since you can go to better nature spots or get more historical draw in places like Kyoto. China has a prime cyberpunk aesthetic with some of their megacities too.
South Korea isn't a bad vacation, it's a really fun time actually, but it just realistically does not have the draw that any of their neighbors have. Even North Korea has it's hermit nature as a draw, being the road almost never traveled despite food concerns and ussr tier tours because its time travel tourism back to the USSR days.

If you spent longer in the country, you would know the positives, and understand the negatives more intricately.
