Sri Lanka

Why is no one talking about it online? Seems to be one of the most interesting places to visit.

    >Why is no one talking about it online
Nobody owes you a conversation, which is verbal labour, just because YOU want it. End of fucking story.

    >Seems to be one of the most interesting places to visit
Source or are you just talking out of your ass? What metric are you using to make this determination?

I had a look at sex tourism forums
they said it's just 4/10 women demanding over 200 USD for sex
I have no idea how it's still so bad given the situation

Threads pop up from time to time. It's SighSee-approved as a destination.
There's a fuckton of great stuff to do there, great food, but I've never been to India so I can't compare it.

Comparatively yes, but also easier to travel, less hassle from the locals and slightly more developed. Good country to visit

I can tell you right now sri lanka is absolutely stunning, and an amazing place to visit. It has a very rich history, culture and beautiful landscapes.

It's also by far the cleanest country in South Asia.

Essentially the country has been coloninized three times by the Dutch, Portuguese and British. Each leaving behind their own piece of history.

Before that, in the 9th century, the country served as an Arab trade outpost/halfway point to South East Asia. There are still tons of Muslim architecture to see and the population is around 10% Muslim.

Even before that, there are thousands of years old fortresses such as The Lion Fortress of previous kingdoms.

The people are also super friendly, and very attuned to foreigners.

Also it's hella cheap. Not sure about right now given the economic crises, but it should still be fine.

The beaches, especially on the east coast are amazing. One of the best places in the world to see blue whales as well.

This anon is correct. Sri Lanka is amazing, it just flew under the radar for a long time because of the civil war and the insurgency. And now there's the economic catastrophy, so it will remain off the beaten path.
