Has this happened to you? How do you react?

It happens multiple times to me everywhere I go, I get a little sad but really just very confused and I stare in mirror for a while

It has never happened to me. We are very distinct from moroccans (the only people we hate and say slurs to) so when someone is called a moromierda it's always right

My family doesn't even speak plattdeutsch anymore at home, haven't for at least a generation. What sort of reputation have you German hochdeutsch bastards made for us in the world? What the hell?

enough larping already, mutt. Hochdeutsch is a language standard, not an ethnicity.

Your desperation to be seen as anything but an amerimutt is palpable.
      >i get called "kraut" when i travel abroad
An obvious lie, given that "kraut" is a term exclusively used by Americans
      >real
African American-style interjection that betrays your muttedness
      >My family doesn't even speak plattdeutsch anymore at home, haven't for at least a generation
Saying "plattdeutsch" instead of "German" in the hopes that your claim of having a connection to your German heritage will be taken seriously
      >What sort of reputation have you German hochdeutsch bastards made for us in the world? What the hell?
Attempt at light-hearted banter in the hopes that you'll get a pat on the head and acknowledgement from the German

Just embrace what you are: a rootless, cultureless, featureless blob of goop.

No I'm an Ashkenazi israelite, so I'm not really confused for anything. Except for when I deal with Israelis. They often think I'm Israeli however and I'm put into a humiliation ritual where I have to speak in broken Hebrew until I give up

    >Has this happened to you?
Yes. When I traveled to the US (colorado) back in 2018, a man asked me something but I didn't hear him very well, I asked him if he could repeat the question, but he looked annoyed and said "english is hard for you arabs", and got away. It was weird considering I look like pic related.
    >How do you react?
I was trying to realize what happened. I also had awkward situations when speaking to people in Girona. Their attitude changed completely when I spoke to them in english. Funny thing is that when I told them where I was from, they tried excused themselves by saying that "we thought you were isleño, sorry we don't like isleños or spaniards." Apparently some chuds don't consider themselves spaniards.
