USA Vaxx restrictions

I know this question has been asked a million times but it's just annoying. Does anyone here have any guesses if the unvaccinated will be allowed into the US again. I just want to see my family again. Maybe now with Bidens low approval they will be a bit more loose?

They're going to double down on it; I wager they may require boosters too given the omicron surge ignoring whatever 'protection' vaxxies have. Sorry anon, this country is owned by Pfizer and Moderna.

Just fly to mexico and cross the border illegally. Border patrol won't check you because they are federally barred from asking. You get free vouchers, and transported across the US. That's how ridiculous brandon has fricked this country. Oh yeah, but a European has to present their medical history while felipe and his amigos come untouched.

All joking aside, how easy is it for the average moron like me to border hop? I know there's heavy checks around El Paso and San Diego then you have Bromfp's big beautiful wall.

Pretty hard. I spent a couple months living in Southern Arizona border towns and pondered this regularly. The fact that rescue beacons like this exist illustrates how rugged the trip actually is. I can only imagine if you tried to cross at one of the "easier" spots without a wall (Coronado National Memorial etc) you'd get snatched up in a heartbeat. That whole southern border area is a surveillance state and you're going to have to pass through inland border checkpoints even if you do make it across the border itself. You're going to have to commit to doing some real hardcore hiking through the uninhabited desert areas (like the Mexicans do) if you want to have a chance. If you're not military trained, an avid outdoorsman or a tough third worlder you're going to get BTFO.

i don't understand what would stop someone from this, besides the border patrol noticing you or someone close to border reporting you? assuming you can get somewhere close t to mexican nogales. this would make about 60km hike, add all the elevation, it would be less than 2 days worth of hiking. adding the stealthines and risk of dehydration (lots of weight for water), i would walk through the night, until im 20km+ from the border. thanks for sharing

You actually want border patrol to catch you, then they give you a ride, a bus ticket anywhere in the USA and an EBT card with $2800 on it, boom you can stay in the USA for 2 years legally

even if im from eu? how is this possible, why would they just let you in ? how would i come back, would they provide you some identification or documents?

There's an outer wall of border checkpoints you need to make it around before you've truly made it to America. If you go east/west you'll run into the same issue, it's mapped out so eventually you have to hit a checkpoint. Technically everything within 100 miles of the US border counts as the border so you have limited rights in this zone. They can search your car, check your passport, seize electronic devices, ask you questions etc even if you're just a regular American citizen who lives in the area and isn't going to/coming from Mexico. You're going to need a car to get through these points to because it would looks sketchy as hell if some guy was trying to walk up Tucson on any of these long, hot roads. You'd have to sneak around but those desert areas are packed with border patrol looking for people trying to do that. They have fancy survellence equipment as well, including this blimp that flies over Nogales and has all sorts of night vision/thermal capabilities. It definitely can be done but they don't make it easy.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2022/07/10/sports/tennis/wimbledon-djokovic-covid-19.html

In this recent article, the NYT acknowledges the possibility of restrictions changing.
It's not much, but given how the mainstream media message has been to pig-headedly say "now that everything is back to normal...", it's nice to see that the powers that be in the USA perhaps don't want a farce like Australia had where the best tennis player in the world is barred from competing in their tournament. And given that nobody actually gives a frick about covid any more, Djokovic has competed in (and won) another international tennis tournament since the Australian debacle and Australia has since dropped all of its covid rules, the US will look even more absurd and unjust than Australia did if they stick to the unnecessary experimental injections mandate.
The US competition in question is in late August. So either they lift the restrictions before then or they look like unreasonable totalitarian-minded shit heads in a public way that they can't ignore (more so).

Just to add, I can't resist to comment how weaselly it is for NYT to say that it's "covid" that isn't done with tennis.
A more accurate headline for their piece would be "tennis may be done with arbitrary pseudo scientific restrictions enforced by the government, but arbitrary pseudo scientific restrictions enforced by the government aren't done with tennis"

Don’t let boomercons fool you. You’ll probably be caught alongside some Hondurans.

You're not going to easily illegally cross. Also you don't need to illegally cross. Just take a land crossing. They are not checking for vaccination status on entry.

          ain't them easily detectable??

Depends on what's accepted as valid evidence or not. The CDC cards are easily faked but if they look up your lot number and it's not valid you're probably in trouble

      >Americans making a health crisis into a political one is one of the biggest failings in human history and it keeps biting them in the ass.
Not sure if you're paying attention but every fricking Western country made COVID political. Sweden did nothing and it's looking way better than Germany. Germany will have a fricking 6th lockdown soon, this while still requiring masks on public transport, vaccination upon arrival for a very long time, countless closing of stores deemed non-essential on and off for almost three years now.
Swedens done nothing, and in a much better shape than Germany could hope to be in. So frick off

Most of Europe, including Sweden, did incredibly poorly. I’m in Asia and don’t even know anyone who’s ever had covid. You’ll just have to learn to “live with covid” I guess

I'm still incredibly fricked by this. Can't even bring my wife into the country. Literally considering moving to England of all places because because this shit NEVER ENDS!!!

Is there any alternatives I'm not thinking about? Illegal immigration literally is not an option, boomercons have no idea what they're talking about. A white European crossing the border illegally is HIGHLY suspect compared to a Mexican. They WILL bring the law down on you.

      Anonymous

That’s not the issue with border hopping, the issue is
      1. Getting robbed and killed by coyotes on the Mexican side because you stick out like a sore thumb
      2. Dying of exposure/dehydration in the desert because you don’t have any logistics set up (water stations, places to sleep, a driver waiting to pick you up on the American side)

Any place that doesn’t have a giant wall is going to be remote as frick and you definitely will not make it alone.

Most airlines require you to submit a picture or document(electronic or physical) showing you have been vaxx'd. It's then reviewed by an agent or AI and your ticket is simply approved.

So how's the screening procedure if I want to travel to the US? Will I be checked and asked to show a physical document before getting on the plane in Europe? Or after leaving the plane in the US, before crossing the border zone at the airports? How does it work?

      Anonymous

Usually you're just asked to show any kind of proof you're vaxxed (digital on your phone, physical etc) while you're checking in for the flight. The desk person looks at it for two seconds and then moves on. A badly photo shopped PDF would work. They don't check a "system" or anything like that. I don't think I've ever been asked for proof of vaccination upon arrival but if they did it would be a similar two second spot check. It really would be super easy to fake it. The British vax card (I'm an American expat) is just a paper thing. I'm sure there a million places online where you could get a fake one. Furthermore, they accept any country's proof at the airport and in the US so how is the desk wagie going to know if your "OFFICIAL BULGARIAN VAX CERTIFICATE" or whatever is fake?

        Anonymous

That's the weakest antivax larp I have seen this month. UK and Bulgaria both use the EU compatible cert that can be instantly scanned. And you can't fake the cert, unless they don't match the cert name with your name.

          Anonymous

Ok but the thing is they aren't scanned. The CDC website specifically says that non verifiable paper or digital records are fine as long as your name is on them. So you could show up with a piece of paper that you printed out yourself and you're fine.

Not even once they scanned my test results nor my recovery certificate. Not even once.
And same thing for some friends who have their jab certificate. Nobody bothers scanning.
