Bosnia. Increribly varied culture. Mix of Muslim, Croat, Serb. Surviving architecture from the Ottomans and later Yugoslavia. Varied landscape: hills, mountains, empty plains, beaches; it‘s all there. Good Balkan food.

France. Just look up Paris Syndrome. That country never fails to disappoint.
If I had a week to go to Bosnia what would you recomend? going to croatia, bosnia and serbia?
Yeah, i know paris is shit, but aren't the little villages, lavander fields and mont saint michel worth it?
Start in Sarajevo, enjoy the food, explore the city and surrounding areas. Stay 2-5 days depending on how much you like it. After that head south to Croatia, spending a day or two in Herzegovina. Mostar is the only place worth spending the whole day, but there are a dozen other places worth stopping for an hour or two. If you're well organized you can see it all in two days. If you don't find it enjoyable skip straight to Croatia. See Dubrovnik, Split, and the islands in between. Stay as long as you want. You can also do the trip in reverse, starting in Split or Dubrovnik and ending in Sarajevo. Keep in mind that Croatia is slightly nicer but very very expensive. Lot to do if you have deeper pockets. Nightlife is light years ahead of Bosnia. Bosnia is cheaper and has much better food. A perfect mix of Slavic, central European, Mediterranian and Oriental cuisine. Both countries have great nature and interesting history. Serbia not worth it if you only have 7 days, save it for another trip.
Not him but Im staying in MonteBlack for a bit and kind of at a loss of what to do afterwards. Was going to head east into Serbia, stay in Belgrade for two weeks, then head back west to Bosnia and stay there for maybe a week, then west again to Croatia for maybe another two weeks. But with all the renewed Kosovo tension shit going on in Serbia, is it a good idea to travel there right now? Especially as an American? Are geopolitical issues ramping up there again?
Dude, biden isn't going to bomb belgrade they already gave all their weapons away to kill people in Ukraine
So true
I enjoyed the louvre and Versailles. The food in Paris was also okay. I also enjoyed looking at the Eiffel tower from a distance.
>France. Just look up Paris Syndrome. That country never fails to disappoint.
never been to paris but been to france 3x and they have been 3 of my most favorite trips... but they were all based on visiting with friends rather than sightseeing. tho the sightseeing i did was pretty comfy
Yellow countries are 1st world and orange countries are former Soviet satellite states where you can have a good time, but know that these are sort of third world countries, aside from the Baltics. Poland is ok-ish
If you have money, do roadtrip through the Riviera to Monaco.
Avoid London and Paris.
Portugal is kind of fun, as is Spain.
Would visit northern Norway/Sweden/Finland during the winter to do all the cool winter stuff.
Im from Portugal so I know Portugal and Spain fairly well. Do you think a Czechia/Slovakia/Austria/Hungary trip would be a good choice? How many days would you recommend for it?
I did this once, pretty good, I'm tired of western Europe, just seems likes it's trying to actualize some shitty multicultural idea, basically just feels like america 2.0, never been to Portugal, but i don't find northern Europe that different from Spain, though Hungary and Slovakia are actually different enough.
In Czechia, you can spend a whole week without a problem.
I took a week long trip to the Czech Republic in March, went to Prague and Brno. It was awesome so I'm going back for two weeks in September to see Ceske Budejovice and Pilsen. Cheap as frick, comfy non-pozzed European cities, tasty food and beer, great public transportation, beautiful women. What more could you want?
You sound like the stereotypical r/europe poster. Please go back.

Reddit babby‘s first trip to Eastern Europe in a nutshell.
I don't understand your bullshit attitude m8. If you want to travel to dirty, ugly expensive places with ugly women and shitty public transport that's on you. Buttmad limey detected.
>Czechia
>Eastern Europe
Ok geographylet back to American high school gulag for you
Everybody, except for the Czechs themselves, thinks of the Czech Republic as Eastern European, my Czech friend.
>b-but muh actually Finland is more eastern, look at a map!
Yeah, nobody gives a shit.
You are just mad that western Europe is an expensive shithole full of violent criminals you imported for (worthless) good goy points
Western Europe is safer than eastern Europe
No its not since western shitholes don't prosecute crimes committed by criminals of colour
>Prague
>cheap
Not this meme again.
I spent under $100 per night on lodging that was comfier than a hotel, getting to the middle of the city from the airport was like $1.50, and most meals cost me $10 or less. Only absolute morons end up spending more than that in Prague.
>100$
>Cheap
Kys and go back
>$
Kys mutt
Okay? Under $100 per night is objectively cheap for any comfortable lodging in a major city. There certainly are places in Prague that are $35 - $75 per night if you really dig or book well in advance. What a dumb thing to take issue with - poor moronic bong absolutely detected.
That is not cheap, especially for Eastern Europe, just normal big city price
The Czech Republic is not Eastern Europe
What a dumb fricking thing to split hairs over. Yeah sure you can find lodging in rural Poland for $35 but the overall quality and selection of goods and services is going to be lower. $50 to $100 per night in a modern city with everything you could ever want is objectively cheap, and if you don't understand that then you haven't really traveled - or you travel like an absolute poorgay.
Wrong, you only travel to globohomosexual shitholes and good for you, someone has to pay for the criminals the government imports by the millions to terrorize you idiots
You are just a moronic gay with no real travel experience. You could book a decent hotel in Prague for something like 50 bucks.
>$100 per night
>cheap
>$10 per meal
>cheap
You could literally find these prices in Hawaii with enough due dilligence. This is not cheap.
>with enough due diligence
yeah...because it's cheap you fricking moron, i.e. a good deal
I also said UNDER $100 and $10 or LESS, so you get a D for reading comprehension. A+ at moving the goalposts though.
That's not cheap, countries nearby are $10 to $35
I did this roadtrip 2 years ago. It was awesome and we had no problems crossing the borders. But driving in Prague was a nightmare and we spent a lot of money on parking everywhere we went. I recommend taking the highspeed train instead.
Prague was my favorite city. cheap beer, awesome city for exploring, good food, everyone spoke english, very low crime, nice Airbnbs to choose from, lots of castles. Definitely worth a few days.
Vienna, Czesky Krumlov and Budapest were incredible and I reccomend doing at least 3 days in each city. Bratislava was worth 1 day to see the castle and the old town.
As a Portuguese, I recommend to visit Eastern Europe in order to appreciate our country more. Sure, we are a shithole for Western European standards but at least we aren't Bulgaria or Romania
Sorry but Kraków beats Lisbon and Porto by a mile.
Depends who you are
If you are a virgin right wing chud then you hate france

Czech, Slovakia, Italy, southern Poland, Portugal, area from Croatia to Greece.
>Countries and areas you can completely ignore:
UK, France, all of scandishitvia, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands.
avoid the butthurt belt, stick to western and central europe
go to greece
Yuck
How many times would we have to repeat, Estonia is the best country to travel, people who say otherwise has never visited the country, period.
I recommend visiting hungary at least once. Both the most popular cities and nature offers some beauty
Have been to Britain, Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Germany, Greece, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania and Russia. For big city vibes, food and nightlife my favourite places have been Madrid and Athens
For hunting and fishing and outdoor stuff I love the highlands of Scotland, hard to beat really.
Friendliest people I encountered were Romanians. Had one great summer going from Bucharest to Cluj through a bunch of towns and cities in Transylvania, one of the best holidays I’ve ever had.
bump
Hows the nightlife in Greece? Thinking of visiting Athens and Crete this month. Is it safe/cheap?
Great if you are in antifa and a poor junkie looking to rob some tourist sheeple
>muh ebin nightlife
just shut up you massive homosexual
I just want to sample the local women and alcohol tbh. For any red blooded male, a trip with no sex is a disappointment.

france is a very overrated shithole
France is actually a very beautiful country with lots of interesting things to see and do. This is one of the most controversial posts on this board.
If you are a white identitarian then you might want to avoid europe except rural northern and central europe, it might make you uncomfortable. Quality of life is superior in central Europe, the weather is nice and cool most of the year except one of two months of cold, and every other parameter is way above the world average, especially in the ruralish parts. Poland is unironically a really good choice as an experience and probably the only country where cheap meets efficient, quality of life and whiteness. I'm just ballparking here, I assume that if you're on SighSee you are this type of person
