Gonna do a balkans roadtrip this summer. Am also interested in Croatia/Albania/MonteBlack. Which country/cities should I visit and party in before heading to Serbia for exit festival? Am looking for interesting and beautiful cities with friendly people, vibrant nightlife, and beaches at some point. I am a white American btw.
If you are into festivals, check out the island of Pag in Croatia, they have a beach with festivals all summer long there, starting may trhough like september. I've been there last June. The food is good, old town is great for a walk at night and chilling in a restaurant by the sea. There is a ton of young people but 90% are British and they act like they are being kept in a cage back home. The festival itself was alright, but don't expect Exit production levels and performers. There are many festivals one after another and my guess is they do vary in quality so thats worth looking into. The one I went with my friends was the most popular one so it had normie tier music, but if you like drinking wienertails and dancing with the crowd it is the place for you. The venues are really nice, they are basically giant nightclubs, most of them in the open sky, paired with that seaside summer vibes its just great. The main club has pools and palm trees and you can jump from it straight into the water during day parties. Stuff like weed is not exactly legal but not hard to come by at all, just beware of the Italian scammers.
