There are no "cities" in New England. The biggest one by far is Boston, a very boring shithole with nothing to do except work and go to school (the opportunities there are admittedly world-class). The next biggest city is Providence, a similarly boring shithole with very little to do.

Last call in both cities is 1:30am. You'll drop $120 for three hours out on the town, with women who are fat and unfriendly. This includes Ubering back since the much-vaunted Boston subway closes at 1am on weekends.

There are more blacks and Hispanics than you'd think, it's not the PNW or the Midwest.

If you're starting a family, moving out in the country might be worth it, especially in NH where the government is relatively sane. Forget what you saw on Gilmore Girls, the towns are full of blacks and Dominicans. Evidence of decay is everywhere, especially in towns like Lowell which are full of abandoned factories.

If you're young and single, go to New York. It becomes a no-brainer when you realize the cost of living in Boston is similar to NY, a city with much more to offer.

I'd only consider Boston if I were absolutely intent on raising my kids in a walkable city, and if I were wealthy enough to afford a place like Brookline. It definitely feels a lot less "overwhelming" than New York for family life. Aside from that, I wouldn't bother.

They are TOWNS, not cities. Boston doesn't even have a million people in it. They barely have half a million.

THESE are the borders of metro Boston, you mongoloid. Does this look like a map of Boston, the city to you?? You'll never have one single reason to visit 80% of the places that fall under """Greater Boston"""".

Even if you did, you'd need a car to get anywhere, which anyone who's actually lived there can tell you is unaffordable in Boston proper.

Never had an issue with the trains, buses, or scooters. What's the issue you scared to sit near a brown person on a bus?

                >Never had an issue with the trains, buses, or scooters.
Anything beyond the Boston subway in """metro Boston""" is effectively Siberia. Even if you take a bus or the commuter rail, you'll still need to drive wherever it is you need to go for the last leg of your trip.

Metro Boston is mostly suburbs, where there's nothing but houses and strip malls. It's depressing, and there's nothing to do. You either have hyper-sanitized shitholes like Wellesley or depressing Rust Belt towns full of Dominicans like Lawrence. You'll never ever have a reason to venture out into these places, unless you have family living there.

                >What's the issue you scared to sit near a brown person on a bus?

For visiting a car is a non issue in price compared to most any other city around there. I'd only agree if we were talking about Maine.

Motherfricker, I spent the best years of my life in Boston. Railed more local coeds than you can count. The fact remains that if you're looking for a city life, Boston is severely lacking compared to other, similarly priced cities in the US.

Even for visiting, I'd be hard pressed to think of how you could spend your time for longer than five days.

What are some better cities for "city life" then Boston? Obviously NYC, but what else? American cities are crippled by extremely poor public transport and urban planning, most us cities are basically just as bad as suburbs from a "city life" perspective. In spoiled by real cities in Asia and Europe.

Sad thing is that there really is nothing else, apart from NYC and Boston. This is my biggest gripe about living in the US. We've allowed the cities to be taken over by blacks, so now the government has to resort to urban sprawl to appease middle-class whites.

The upshot of that is all the neuroses that come from living in an ultra-sanitized shithole where there's nothing to do, and where you can't get anywhere without a car. The career of Robert Moses was built on destroying community spaces for the sake of keeping us away from black people, and he's not the only one. Literally had to blow up a neighborhood and built a highway dividing it because black people had taken over part of the city.

You may be able to find parts of certain towns where public transportation is feasible, but nothing on the scale of New York. Even then, that's liable to change from one day to the next, since most Americans depend on cars and public transport is poorly maintained. The Boston subway system is without a doubt the best in the country, and even that one is a dysfunctional piece of shit, with constant breakdowns and the like.

You're comparing "Asia" and "Europe" to the USA? How about, instead of coping, you admit that the USA's selection of cities stomps the equivalent in any other country. Once you get outside of London, most of the UK's cities are absolute shitholes. There is very little that's interesting about Germany's largest cities outside of Berlin - it has a handful of smaller cities that are okay. Italy is probably the only smaller country with more than 1 or 2 great cities. None of the new world countries have more than 1 or 2 good cities aside from the USA, which has like, 6. The thing is, Americans are too caught up in being regionalists and anti-nationalists.

Imagine saying the US only has NYC and Boston as worthwhile cities. You're in the third most populated nation on earth, the one with the most desirable array of cities of any size in the world (NYC, LA, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, DC, New Orleans, San Diego, Seattle, Miami, Charleston, Atlanta, Austin, San Antonio, Philadelphia) and you're fricking saying utterly assinine shit like this.

Please, tell me what country has the most cities on this list (pic rel)?

You Reddit losers are creating a false dichotomy, cherry-picking, and straight up lying.

I don't give a frick about your Bloomberg list, American cities are trash. I don't give a frick about the UK or Germany or their cities. American cities are only desirable locations for poor third worlders looking to make a better living, and Americans who are happy with Chicago coming from east bumfrick Indiana or wherever. I don't care what you or anyone else considers a "great" or a "good" city. Have fun with your 6 great US cities, the only reason I'd ever be there is to go to the airport and get the frick out to somewhere else in the world. What I do enjoy about the US is the places outside of the cities, rural Idaho or Utah etc. up in the mountains is going to provide a very special unique lifestyle that nowhere else can really match. But Boston or Chicago, nah you can have that shit and all the woke dindu bullshit that comes with it.

Boston is nice for a visit. I found it to be a very fun trip. But, I agree. I couldn't imagine paying out my ears for a little apartment in a nice area. I already had to put up with that, growing up in New Jersey. $2,400 per month for a 600sqft 1 BR apartment with a Kitchen the size of a walk in closet.

New Haven is a notorious shithole outside of Yale and the places frequented by Yale students (toads etc)

Ok the schizo posts about Boston are mine, but I will admit Mass is full of towns like Georgetown, Nahant, and Orleans that are GREAT places to raise a family. You do need money though.

Mass is also hugely underrated for pussy. Boston attracts the best and brightest young women from all over the country, the world even. Xi jinping's daughter went to harvard, malia obama too, a literal princess of the house of orange went to tufts, rich chinese expat girls, mind blowing pussy everywhere. Upper middle class massachusetts also produces some amazing italian-american pussy.

It's still no place for a man in his 20's. All the quality girls leave for college, and when they graduate they go to major cities. It's only fit for raising a family, if you can stand the libtard government.

A house in a charming seaside town will run you about a million dollars. You can easily live off the passive income from a $2 million portfolio, once that's out of the way.

There will be plenty of Latinos for you to hang out with, if that's what you're looking for. Mexicans are the predominant ones in most of the US, but New England has a more diverse mix: Guatemalans, Colombians, Dominicans, Puerto Ricans.

I'd suggest homeschooling your children so they don't grow up to be mentally ill. American public schools are a real piece of work. There's homeschool groups with lots of discreetly right-wing parents, so that your children don't become stereotypical weirdos. They organize sports teams that compete against local schools and such, family mixers, etc. I ran into one where they paired their children off at like 16, with the understanding they'd marry after college.

Don't pull the trigger on it unless you're intent on living a quiet family life. If you're not looking for peace and quiet, you'll find the routine mind-numbingly boring. Take Vitamin D with some potassium every few days for seasonal depression: the sun sets at 4pm in winter. You might as well just fly home for a month in December to avoid the worst of it.
