What would be the best Asian country for a first time solo traveler? I was thinking about either Japan, Thailand, or the Philippines.

Malaysia and Thailand cheap and alot of fun and everyone has great English
Philippines is nice but get ready to pay up if you want an apartment that isnt roach infested
I heard Malaysia is boring? Why rent an apartment instead of going to a hotel in the Philippines?
coomers probably find malaysia “boring”, since population is mostly muslim, try out penang and the island of borneo. In phililp the hotels have roaches too if you cheap out, learned my lesson. thailand and malaysia overall had high quality builds even for cheaper locations
Not a coomer
Japan seems ideal then.
go you Bang-ladesh
You'll have a good time
Hong Kong
Don't EVER go to the Phillipines
I want to try the dollar-fifty brothels there.
phillipines is fine what are you talking about? especially if you visit the islands.
HK is closed unless you want to get sodomized by a million restrictions
It's the ninth circle of hell
can you elaborate?
canada
Thailand if you want to coom and do other stuff
Everyone I know who has gone to Japan loved it, even the non-weebs, but that was pre-covid.
Thailand is probably the easiest non-english country to be a tourist in. It's like everything was made to be as easy to understand and convenient as possible for tourists. The only thing that goes against it is the traffic, but as long as you follow what the locals do you'll get it pretty fast.
You won't have a hard time in Malaysia, Singapore, Tokyo or Taipei as a first time solo traveler either though.
Japan for east Asia - pro: massive tourism industry so good infrastructure for a newbie, con: expensive
Thailand for South East Asia - pro: same as above but cheap, con: developing country full of ladyboys trying take your anal virginity
Sri Lanka for South Asia - pro: less commercialised than the two above but less overwhelming than other South Asian countries, con: economy shit itself recently, might want to give it another year
Uzbekistan for Central Asia - pro: about as good as tourism infrastructure gets in the region, cool silk road stuff, con: the region in general is not great for travel newbies
Jordan for West Asia - pro: babbys first middle east country, cool shit like Petra, con: its the middle east
Japan is perfect for first time. It is very easy to get around, get the JR rail regional passes if you're using the bullet train a lot. People don't speak English but train station workers do, and it's very safe/clean. Tons of temples, mountains , beautiful nature, and of course Tokyo/Osaka
Thailand is great but watch out for scammers, they are everywhere, most of them wear bum bags, don't trust people in the street.
Philippines IMHO is the moron of SEA. Went there it was fun but it was nowhere near as safe/developed as mainland SEA and literally EVERYONE tried to fleece me for money. Got food poisoning there too.
Thailand, and it's not even close. Japan is expensive and nobody speaks English, which sounds like a minor obstacle, but gets very annoying real fast.
lmao I wouldn't even step a foot in the Philippines, even if I'd get a huge amount of money for it
Thailand is fun, and great value for the money, plenty of cool shit to do, beautiful girls, easy transport, everyone speaks a little English, 7-11 on every corner, great food everywhere, lovely beaches and nature, cool uncolonized culture, there's a reason it is so popular for traveling. You could spend a whole year just exploring Bangkok, the city and its girls
Little bit of an exaggeration there you wannabe travel agent. The "girls" will ruin you within a month.
I’m good looking in the US bros but I love being “worshipped”
What country worships a white chad the most? Thailand?
Philippines.
